Yeah the two year thing isn't a new thing I don't know why they put that there like it's new, but the idea that you can use online portal results saves people a few days or weeks.

Honestly that no BOWP thing surprised me. In my case, I'll be eligible for CEC early 2022.. but my work permit expires soon after too, making things tight for me.. that's why this program is a good opportunity.. if it's not processed by then then I'll go for CEC if I can..

They're good as long as you didn't go back and live there for 6 months or more.

Also guys I know emotions are running high, everyone is stressed, this is life-changing for many, but in reality, we don't know for sure what is going to happen. Remember, this didn't exist two weeks ago and we were going on with your lives as usual. Just prepare what you can, be ready, consider...

You can! PGWP extension policy is not related to this. its not a BOWP.

I believe both, but I'm not sure. I don't see a reason for them not to accept an upfront medical exam, and this would just be another thing to not worry about for the next 12 months in case you're eligible for other pathways.

I just did mine today, they let you do it upfront, and it cost me 300$, they might not accept it or they may ask me to do one on their request, but I thought it would be worth it to do it. It's valid for 12 months. If you want to do it, try to do it with a panel physician that is with eMedical...

New Policy for International Students - April 12th, 2021

The majority of the eligible population are in the same scenario, there are some things that need time.. and that's if they don't ask for medical or PCC.. Unless there are tens of thousands of people ready to submit fraudulent or misrepresented applications then I see there's some time. It...

That's very different. This requires a complete permanent residency application not just a registration like OINP. You need a language test certificate number. You need to prepare so many documents, travel history, personal history, address history, family information.

According to that youtube video, the guy was like there's going to be a running count of submitted applications and I can't think of anything more scary.. like you type in your first and last name and the count is at 32,000 already o_O

But wasn't it in one of the news articles where they said they are hiring more officers to accommodate? the budget announced is related I believe..

Okay but also the PGWP extension policy will probably be extended too, that's currently until July 27 for expired and expiring work permits (if your work permit expires before November 27 you can extend it by 18 months). So if they just give that policy some more time, then most people can...

That's a game-changer actually... if you can't get a BOWP.. that's not attractive at all if you are eligible for CEC.

Just get it from now, reference letters need not literally be the same second of application and include pay statements too.

I hope very few dumb people would throw 1000 dollars away like that, knowing it will be rejected.
