Does anyone know the likely size specifications for the digital photo?

I mean most people won't have it by May 6, like there are very few people that did the test without being qualified for any stream. Most that have it were about to apply for EE.

Yeah so from that live, it seems the real bottleneck you can't get away with is the language results. I guess it's good to have a rolling number of applications to see how many are being submitted. Also, he recommended not submitting incomplete applications, because they'll be refused and you...

Yeah, I'd apply to the stream that you have all documents ready for. By the time your parchment is out, you'd know if your application went through and if not apply to the grad stream.

Yes but degree needs to be granted.

Of course, they want to continue CEC draws. 90,000 is just a small portion of the 400,000 goal they need for 2021, and with borders closed they'll just keep or increase these draws. Canadian experience is not something to overlook. The new stream is simply supplemental to the usual draws. Draws...

I think it's good for you, but also do not assume there are less documents to provide, it's probably the same stuff needed.

Okay but technically a study permit is an authorization to work in many cases.. it's not clear but we'll know in May.

I think it just has to be recent enough.. and show the most recent pay statement

Yes, continue looking, I hope she finds one then. There are so many factors that'll affect how fast the intake cap would fill, like whether or not applicants to other PR streams are allowed to apply here, whether or not you need certain docs immediately (like medical, PCC).. so we can't know...

I personally think the end of May. That's what immigration experts think (like those on the websites with consultants) and someone above mentioned their lawyer said the same. They're all saying don't wait till July to apply because "we expect it to close within the month". There's going to be a...

Yep, I think it just needs to be recent.. and if you have an offer letter stating dates of employment, as well as pay statements, then that's all good..

Absolutely, this is the reason.. of course, the vast majority won't have their IELTS by May 6. No one expected this. But it won't be open to November because the IELTS results will be coming in every day past may 6..

Again, OINP requires only registration, that is why it is chaotic.. they are announcing things on the day because this isn't something you can finish in 10 minutes.. it needs a lot of information, dates, document numbers, etc. Immigration applications are not OINP. I only worry about the server...

Yeah, this seems to be an uncommon scenario that seems to technically be eligible? unless employment needs to be full-time.

Police checks from Canada aren't required at time of application, and when you get one, you don't always need fingerprints if your name isn't common. Try to apply through your regional police for the criminal record check (it says 2-3 weeks processing time), but if they do ask for fingerprints...

Because you have a set select of people that have everything ready (say 25,000..) but then the other 15,000 are limited with the language test, IRCC knows this. So what happens is, with everyday that language test results come out, you have new applications coming in consistently but relatively...

I'm not sure, don't take my word for it, but by looking at online test booking, TEF seems to be the more popular one, looking at TCF bookings it says "not for immigration Canada" not sure what that means.. again I'm not familiar with these but that's what I think at first glance.

It is lower than the usual requirements for other streams, it is super worth looking into if you know basic French, have a look at TEF and TCF and see the scores for the benchmark levels, and try practice tests to see how far off you are. And you have till November.. since no intake caps...
