Okay so this one is a little tricky, according to the IRCC description, if the translator is certified in the country where the documents were translated, then it is fine. It is only with uncertified translators that you need an affidavit. If the translation is being done in Canada Applicants...

Also, I had a nightmare that the stream opened and I was filling the forms, but I would keep hitting obstacles and I was typing super slow (like when you can't run fast in dreams) It took me 7 hours to complete the forms and document, and then when I clicked submit it said quota was already met..

Okay but you can't submit applications without certain pieces of info.. this is like when CERB came out and unemployed international students felt fomo, but regardless couldn't apply for it cause you simply need to be eligible. You can't submit an application when they ask for certificate...

Digital photos are what you need for electronic applications. This isn't paper based. They want a JPG or JPEG format. Check this site out, it does it well. https://visafoto.com/

Why would you get hard copies? Uploading and scanning them isn't the way digital photos work..

That's for paper applications, electronic applications would require digital photos, so either like the TRV ones or a digital with PR size specifications

Personally, I think not.. the idea is to be employed at the time of application and at the time of approval, so I don't see why this would be an issue.

They ask this for study permit and work permit applications too. If you have it say yes, if you don't say no. You don't need it if you don't have one of course. Sometimes, these documents can only be issued within the country itself. I've been asked for it for both study and work permit...

Because they already told us what they know.. so the course is just basically going through potential applications and documents, thankfully this thread has done it for free :)

I went to check it out then saw it was almost half the price of the PR application itself and was like bye that's not worth you telling me how to type my date of birth into an application.

Sorry I meant that, forgot spouses were dependants too. It's just to prove the children are yours.

I think old translation is fine as long as the marriage is the same, and you probably might need your birth certificate (for sure you'd need birth certificates for dependants but not sure for the principal applicant)

It wont, you need to fill many forms and details (if you're fast and prepared it'll take 30 min to 1 hour, but there are certainly not 40k people that will be able to do that).. be sure to not make mistakes otherwise you'd get refused.
