I applied the beginning of June and yes, online.
Thank you so much!! ^_^ I couldn't be happier to finally see DM!
Thanks! :) I will contact them Tuesday... they won't be open tomorrow bc of the civic holiday correct?
Seems there is! I wish they made it easier though.., haha
I just asked this on another thread and was curious.
Someone suggested I send the items right before I leave to come to Canada so they get here after but that still didn't answer my questions about how Canada Post will know they're duty free...
What do I do about my pending visitor extension I submitted? I'm hoping I can land this month/early September. I don't think I'll get the extension approved soon since they were just working on March applications recently I believe.
How do I cancel it and can I get my money back?
I am hoping to land rather soon(just got DM today, yay!).
And I am thinking of mailing some heavier/bulkier items that won't travel well on my flight back to Canada. How would Canada Post know not to charge me duty on my goods though?
I think it's more about how many applications they have to go through at any particular office. I think Ottawa is quite a busy one as they take US applicants among others and also process other types of applications I believe.
