MULEZ! This is ace! Hooping mine is looked at ASAP! Still waiting I am literally the last one with a decision!

So am I.

So got my notes today, literally all I can make out is that he's passed his medical, no issues from police checks and the notes down the bottom of the document state that our relationship is genuine, it states that a conditional PR recommendation does not apply (?) not too sure what this means.last bit States the additional information they requested a few weeks ago. Does that sound like it's pretty much done?

Also I'm concerned about the fees section, it looks like we owe more money but think one stated entered in error. I am sure they would have asked for more money off us. We paid just over $1000'for everything so I sure that's enough!?

If you are the only one being sponsored (i.e. no children) then the fee is $1,040 CAD.

Regarding conditional PR, this is from the guide.
As of October 25, 2012, CIC introduced amendments to the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations. The amendments specify that spouses, common-law or conjugal partners who are in a relationship with their sponsor for two years or less and have no children in common with their sponsor at the time of the sponsorship application are subject to a period of conditional permanent residence. The condition requires the sponsored spouse or partner to cohabit in a conjugal relationship with their sponsor for a period of two years after the day on which they became a permanent resident. The conditional measure only applies to permanent residents whose applications are received on October 25, 2012, or after the day that the amendments come into force.

Hello September applicants, i'm a November applicant but i need some guidance, i appreaciate any help(advice)

I finally got AOR2, i'm the applicant, i don't know why on earth they are asking me for my sponsor's birth certificate i think this is very unusual maybe a mistake from them. They also requested a coopy of his passport and a couple normal things from me.

And i'm very worry because my husband(The sponsor and Canadian citizenship) was born in colombia so in order to get the copy of his birth certificate he actually needs to go to Colombia, there is no way he can get it in the consulate of colombia in Canada.

So i sent an e-mail to VO telling them that, That my husband doesn't have his birth certificate and that is almost imposible to get one. I hope they can understand.

Could you please suggest me what to send them when i send all the requested documents?

Do you think send them a letter explaining them why we are not sending Birth certificate from sponsor is good idea?
What i can i say in that letter?

Thank you :'(

barely awake - I checked my email. I do so every morning because I emailed CIC and was impatiently awaiting their reply. Well, I got the email today. 6:30 a.m. the long-awaited email requesting Passport and 2 photos. I hope this is a day or two process to get the passport stamped so I can make the travel arrangements.

so excited! so happy! beyond words :D
