    US outland applicants' thread :)

Seems we're at the whim of whichever officer(s) is assigned to our case and then also how long your file waits in each queue. I'm guessing we're in some queue to be reviewed by a senior officer or something since we already got a "recommended pass" and everything else was a pass. Who knows what...

    CSQ Processing time??

Hmm.. I can't find an email for the Mississauga office. Hopefully someone can help you out!

    CSQ Processing time??

I would do both. They send you two copies anyways and one is specifically for if immigration needs it. If they accept the email one, great, if not, then you will have sent the hard copy by snail mail anyways. It's a win-win. Yes, it does state that in the guide but they for some reason don't...

    CSQ Processing time??

Funny they would say that... why would they request a CSQ from me then? CIC is so inconsistent. If I would have been proactive and sent my CSQ, I have a strong feeling I'd have DM a month or more ago.

    CSQ Processing time??

When you receive your CSQ, there will be two copies. One is for you to keep for when you land/after you land, the other says it's a copy for immigration, "should they need it". You'll send that one. The instructions say they should send a copy to the visa office but that doesn't always happen...

    CSQ Processing time??

I got mine back in December and I'd say it took less than a month after we sent it in, until we got it in the mail. I believe it should come by Canada Post. Looks like you just sent yours. You may hear something later this month or early next month. And to answer your last question, I would...

    September 2014 OUTLAND Applications

Oh, ok! I don't think it'll be a probpem. Last year when we did our medical we only had to schedule a week ahead. I really really hope it doesn't come to a re-medical. We're so tight on money as it is. That's what everyone keeps saying for like a month now and still no DM... :/

    CPP-Ottawa

I just want to add in, I also got accidentally filed as inland during SA. That, and me not sending my CSQ right away has, I believe, delayed my application. Congrats a million!!! You've waited far too long!!

    September 2014 OUTLAND Applications

You mean call the call centre? I think they will extend my medicals since the officer noted that they expire in August (even though I did them the 29th of July, I guess they entered into the system in August?). The question is how long will they extend them... I need at least a month 1/2 after I...

    September 2014 OUTLAND Applications

I emailed our MP today, here's what I wrote (wrote it as if I was my husband, haha) "Dear xxxxx, My name is xxxxxx, I'm a Canadian Citizen, residing in xxxxxx, Quebec. Myself and my wife, Leah, are currently caught up in the process of applying for Permanent Residency (PR) under the Spousal...

Quick Question for visitor extension app

Both the sponsor and principal applicant have a UCI #, however this spot is usually used if you have submitted an extension or anything else to CIC before. You can leave it blank if you don't know yours.

    B4 forms

I believe you do have to use the b4 but not the b4a if you don't want to. I have heard people say they use excel spreadsheets instead but I'm not sure if that includes the b4 as well. Hopefully someone can answer this better than I have!

    Income for Quebec app

It shouldn't be a problem. Quebec will evaluate that all on their own. I'm not sure what their qualifications are though. Maybe someone else can specify. We went through Quebec and my husband was approved as a sponsor. I haven't seen anyone rejected by Quebec.

    B4 forms

Grouping is sufficient and placing a value on that whole group is perfectly fine. There are two kinds of things you would want to separate though, electronics and jewelry(maybe an expensive watch in a guys' case). For the electronic you want to write the make, model, and serial number. For...

    September 2014 OUTLAND Applications

Ooh, I hope you're right!!! :) my medical was done end of July last year so not even a year old but I did see they requested a medical extension in the notes but there was no update on it. That was April 27th. They asked for my CSQ May 5th and it was recorded into the system May 22nd. So the...

    US outland applicants' thread :)

Congrats!!! :) about your address, maybe try the call centre and tell them you're waiting on your COPR but your address in ecas never changed. They should be able to tell you what address they have on file. I hope they'll be helpful anyways! Thanks for the well wishes, as I'm a September...
