    US outland applicants' thread :)

Yikes! Our MPs must be busy bc I've seen some take like less than a week to reply -_- Definitely very frustrating. I just want to get moving on with my life. Get a job, at least contemplate school. I hate this limbo period!! Let's!! Good luck to you. I'm at 10 months, going on 11 once August...

If I don't get DM tomorrow maybe I'll shoot them an email. I emailed my husband's mp two weeks ago and still no response.

That's insane. It's unfortunate when someone thinks they can't do it on their own if they have a simple case.

NP! That should help you gauge where others are who applied the same month as you. :)

    US outland applicants' thread :)

I think FCP might mean it's in a file cabinet... basically just sitting in a queue with other's applications waiting for your turn to be reviewed. My application was sent to Ottawa in November and they didn't look at it again until March. And now I'm still waiting on DM. Seems 2015 applicants...

    US outland applicants' thread :)

I would suggest sending it after you get SA but before they request it. I know a lot of people from late 2014 who got documents requested, noticed it really delays things when they have to request something.

    September 2014 OUTLAND Applications

Thanks fizban!! Seems I'm the last Ottawa/September applicant waiting for at least an "in process".

    September 2014 OUTLAND Applications

Thanks Mulez!! From what I can tell from the notes I got at the beginning of the month, I think we are in process, "technically", but I don't think they changed it on ecas. I haven't seen much on what exactly makes your file "in process" but I think mine started in March. That is when they first...

    September 2014 OUTLAND Applications

Believe me I know how you feel! Have you ordered notes at all? I at least saw that they received my CSQ I sent at the beginning of May. Everything else seems to be passed and approved as well, so idk what the hold up is. I saw quite a few October applicants getting DM so maybe they're working...

visitor visa for wife. Still waiting...

Do you mean a visitor extension? If so, you're well within the processing times. Last I checked they were processing applicants from April 2nd (if you applied online). I submitted mine June 5th and I'm still waiting as well. Good luck!

I have seen some suggest to call and tell them your MP said you were approved and you need to know when your COPR was mailed to arrange travel plans. That has seemed to work for multiple people now! Good luck! :)

    CSQ Processing time??

Sorry for the mistake! Either way, I wish they wouldn't be so ambiguous. Either send every visa office a copy or let us know we need to send them a copy ourselves, ya know?

    CSQ Processing time??

It's really at your discretion if you want to send an unsolicited copy to your visa office. When you receive your CSQ, it will say they will send a copy to your visa office but that doesn't always happen, like in my case. I believe waiting for them to request it set me back a few months so now I...
