Best way to find out is to call and ask if they're e-enabled. Since most US physicians utilize technology a lot, I'd assume that most on the list would be e-enabled. But, it's best if you called and asked!

To be on the safe side, I suggest that you assume that the 60 days that they give you includes the number of days that it takes your designated visa office to get your medical. When they send a MR they give you 60 days. Say you complete the medicals in a week. Thereafter, the medical done by...

Honestly, is the consultant working for you or are you working for the consultant? Ask him for the tracking number, and say that for the peace of your mind you need to track and confirm that the application has reached CIC. If your consultant refuses, maybe it's time you looked at hiring...

My GF received her PER last week (she is in one of those not hot at all occupations!!!). She recently changed jobs and is currently working for a new employer (same occupation, different employer). Does she need to let the local VO know that she has changed jobs? The reason why I am asking is...

@ Anil Ch, I think you're asking that question from me. She got her nomination from Quebec (She speaks French fluently and scored very highly on the French equivalent of IELTS (Can't recall what the test is called)). Anyway, her process has been in the works for sometime now.

Start the PCC process immediately. See my answer above regarding submission deadlines for PCCs that I've seen at least in one VO. Additionally, getting a PCC for most members on this forum seems very cumbersome give the bureaucracy / inefficiencies in their home countries / countries that...

@ Goku, A friend of mine got nominated by a province. She recently got her PCC and medical requests. While the local VO gave her 60 days to submit her medicals, it only gave her only 30 days to submit her PCCs. I'm not sure if the PCC and medical submission timelines differ by programs...

What's your NOC? Remember, only a few NOCs are "Red Hot." So, you still may be in the chase!

@ Oscar For me, the greatest unknown was the number of applicants from China. There are more than a billion people in China, and tonnes of them want to migrate to Canada. Since the spreadsheet is a Google product, and since Google products are banned in China, we never really got to assess the...

Wow! CIC has updated the latest cap numbers and 1112 and 2174 have already had around 400 applicants!!! Notice this people: CIC seems to be updating the as of dates for applicants in the Ph.D. stream (with the latest being 25 Aug 2014), but not for applicants in one of the 50 eligible...

This is the first time I'm seeing an email like this. But I suspect this is the Acknowledgement of Receipt (AOR) email that local VOs send when they receive your case file. Looks like your case has been transferred to the local VO (HK) for further processing. Good luck!

On a side note: I wish I were a Petroleum Engineer. Had I been one, I would have had all the time in the world to apply for the FSW (NO applications have been received in the category yet). Since Canada has a booming oil industry, I would have been virtually assured a job. To top that, pay...

Hello Seniors, This is a question on behalf of a friend of mine who got nomination through a provincial program. She recently got her medical and PCC requests. She did her medicals two weeks ago and has sent her PCCs as well. Last night she had noted that her ECAS status has been updated to...
