[size=9pt] Abhinav has a Canadian lawyer on their panel that fills out the form and puts his enrolment # etc. so don't worry about that. You will be well taken care of by them and yes they fill that form

Yes there are a lot of mom n pop types consultants in this field but Abhinav is not one of them. They are well managed and have experts who know what they are talking about.

I AGREE WITH YOU OSCAR. I HAVE HIRED ABHINAV TOO BUT HAVING SAID THAT I GOT MORE ANSWERS AT THIS FORUM THAN I GOT FROM THEM. THE GOOD THING ABOUT HIRING THEM IS THAT I GOT A LOT OF HELP WITH THE PAPER WORK AS THEY KEPT TELLING WHAT MORE WE COULD ADD IN OUT FILE. BUT MOST QUESTIONS WERE ANSWERED HERE BY JUST SEARCHING , I DIDNT EVEN HAVE TO ASK DIRECTLY.

Want to share good news, i have received PER mail from CIC an hour back. My details are :

Application sent : 5th May 2014
Application received: 9th May 2014
CC Charged : 16th July 2014
PER Received : 18th August 2014
Received by : Mike at 12:39 pm
NOC : 2171

Could anyone let me know what are the next steps ?

Also i'am unable to update the SS, can admin do it on my behalf ??

I would like to share the happy news of PER Email that I received 30 minutes back.

App Recieved: 09-May
NOC: 3142
DD Encashed as per PER: 21-July
DD Encashed as per Bank: 28-July

You are correct , it is expiration of status & visa. Status of stay will be still valid till USCIS give decision. If it is approved i would get extended dates & if refected then I should leave USA within 10-15 days of decision.

So at present my length of stay is unsure which makes me not to select USA visa office & I am sure(based on other similar applications) that it will be approved & so wont be staying at home country .

On generic form IMM0008, should I just leave BLANK for those not applicable fields but not greyed out (eg UCI no, fax no,etc) and all greyed out fields?? Or I should put N/A for them after printing??

You can keep grey fields as it is and all others which are not applicable to you put Not Applicable.. Don't left as blank..

Praise be to God! PER received Aug 18 ;D Was worried for a couple of days since some May 9 applicants already received their PER last Friday. Had to wait for Monday... worth the wait indeed!

Thx for your prompt reply. So, for UCI, fax number, alternate telephone number, expiry date of national card, PO Box, and postal code, these fields are not applicable to me and are not greyed out, I have to write N/A on all these fields by hand after printing, is that right?

Hello Seniors,

This is a question on behalf of a friend of mine who got nomination through a provincial program. She recently got her medical and PCC requests. She did her medicals two weeks ago and has sent her PCCs as well. Last night she had noted that her ECAS status has been updated to reflect the receiving of her medicals. What does that mean? Does it mean that she has passed the medicals? Now that her medicals have been received, what's next? Is it the decision? Who makes the decision? Is it the CIC or the local VO?
