Hi Friends,

Got my PER yesterday, i have below questions:

1) What are the next step and how much time will it take ?Next step wiil be file transfer to NDVO. and then AOR from NDVO
2) Getting PER means that i'am satisfying the points criteria? As i was bit nervous for my points as it was 67 ? Yes, PER means that you satisfied points criteria i.e. you had 67 or more points.
3) My visa office is NDVO, by when can i expect MR etc ? Its hard to say, may be within 6-7 months
4) Are there any chances of file getting rejected beyond this point ? Yes there aree many chances. If VO called your work place and got negative response, Problem in security/backgroung check, problem in medical, rejection on landing etc. Just remember that untill you are landed there are chances of getting rejection.

Could you please throw some more light on arranged employment scheme?... My thoughts where that after FSW when one lands in canada he/she has to exhaust his own resources for jobs

if you are a pet engineer and you work with a multinational, u will most likely not care about fsw since no job is guaranteed. most people in this category will only move via the arranged employment scheme. I guess this why no one is applying yet.

since estimates by dimtrych are erratic due to CIC stopping charging and issuing PERs...Could you please comment when will 16 May apps starts processing.

On Schedule A Background/Declaration form, I see a last section after signature and date. Do i need to fill in some details? as it says do not complete the following section now.

Or Shall I leave this section complete blank?

i DONT HAVE PROOF FOR NEXT 1 YEAR OF LAWFULLY ADMITTED AS MY REQUEST FOR EXTENSION WITH USA IMMIGRATION IS PENDING? WHAT SHOULD I DO?

After then, u have to choose the country of nationality area's VO (if u are staying there)........

Bro,

1. Next step is AOR from NDVO (if they continue like last yr)
2. On first review by CIO, yes ofcourse u have found 67 points. After Local VO assessment their review will be taken place again
3. As per last yr u it was around Nov-Dec 13.
4. Yes still there will be chances....But for this cases VO will give u chances (for some cases).... And the % is very very low...

So no need to worry and waste ur time thinking negatives.........

In our PER mail it is mentioned that:

"If additional documents are required, you will be provided an address to forward required documents. Please inform the visa office of any changes in your application (e.g. birth or adoption of a child, marriage or common-law relationship, new occupation or employer, submission of an Arranged Employment Opinion approved by Human Resources and Skills Development Canada, change of address, change of e-mail address, change of immigration representative, etc). Please include a letter identifying what the changes are and any relevant supporting documents. If your documents are not in English or French, send a notarized (certified) translation with a copy of the originals. "

but there is no way we can contact visa office as there is no email or phone number mentioned where we can contact them...kindly help.. You will receive that information in AOR email.

I have sent my application on 11th of August and it has reached the office at 15th of August (as per fedex tracking service).

So my doubt is will I be notified by the CIC ?
How will I get my File Number ?

My application was received on 5/7/2014 and the fee was encashed on 6/20/2014. I have been waiting for PER for almost 2 months and nothing has been happened. My ECAS status is still in process. If my application has got rejected would I get any email or they would just return the application??

P.S. Does anybody know how can I contact CIC to ask for my application status?
