What is your NOC number? It depends a lot on your occupation as well. Some NOC numbers did not even reach their quota last year!

Adding further, I think it is not in your best interests to be complacent and assume that you have more time this time around because the cap is larger. Gather your documents and lodge your application as soon as possible, but don't sacrifice accuracy. Good luck!
