FSW 2014 Applicants Timeline- Lets Network Here.

@ Royston I think you should be fine if the Team Leader category falls under the HR Department. You may want to include the fact that this Team Leader position falls under HR department in your cover letter (Some on this forum have submitted additional explanations in their cover letters)...

I just read a couple of earlier posts that were, for the lack of a better word, complaining about the ratings system that is being employed on this forum. The ratings are given by members to other members who have competently answered their questions. Hence, higher the ratings, the higher the...

Yours is a very tricky situation. But here's my opinion if you'd like it: According to many members on this forum, it is the job duties that matter and not the title when it comes to determining FSW eligibility. On the NOC job description page it also gives other titles for each occupation. For...

I see! But to be on the safe side I authorized my card for $1040. Will it be a problem?

@ Stratgergsr I was a bit confused about what the correct fee was - I wasn't sure if it was $550 or $1040. I came and asked the question and people here said both numbers. So, I authorized the credit card for $ 1040. Will it be a problem.

Hi, Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the question that I raised. So, it's not just me who thinks that the spreadsheet, while being very, very useful, may not be the best tool in estimating the actual number of applications that are being received at the CIO. Randev

Hello All, I have been analyzing the spreadsheet and was wondering about a few things. I think this is a relevant post since many of you have queried as to what people's estimates are with respect to the number of applications received so far. Here are the things that I noted and have been...

Based on so many of the posts here, I believe the hot occupations again are going to be 1112 and 2174. It is hard to judge when the caps for these two occupations will fill up, but here are a few things to consider: 1) Last year, too, these two occupations had the highest number of applications...

What is your NOC number? It depends a lot on your occupation as well. Some NOC numbers did not even reach their quota last year!

Adding further, I think it is not in your best interests to be complacent and assume that you have more time this time around because the cap is larger. Gather your documents and lodge your application as soon as possible, but don't sacrifice accuracy. Good luck!

I think applications for the "hot" NOCs will fill up as quickly as they did last year, if not quicker. Here's why I think so: Take for example, NOC 1112 - Financial Investment Analysts. Last year, the quota for that category was filled about 22 days after applications were opened on May 4th...

URGENT QUESTION! I sent our application for FSW on 1st May 2014. When we sent our application, we selected the visa office of the country that we are currently living in. Today, I received an offer for a job that I had applied for a couple of months back ( I was initially wait-listed. I guess...
