AUGUST 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS

Hi to all immigrating to Quebec! I am as well (not immigrating per se but sponsoring my non-Canadian (yet) wife and we'll all be coming back to Quebec). We didn't send our CSQ request yet as we're still waiting for our SA. But I'm familiar with the process. First, the delay: actually it takes...

AUGUST 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS

Inchallah! But for the record, twelve (12) of us, August applicants, are still waiting for their SA. That's between 20% and 25% (or 12 out of 53 applicants).

Emails are programmed by CIC in advance and sent one or two days later. It's not surprising to hear from them late on a Saturday.

AUGUST 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS

So happy for you! If my recollection is good your application should be forwarded to Ottawa. So things should speed up a lot for you very soon. Well, since your SO got his F_I clearing I think all other "RF" should be manageable, the worst case scenario would be a request for additional...

AUGUST 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS

Just wondering, are all of us who are still waiting for their SA, and who are getting late responses, have by chance something "special" in our applications, not necessarily "red flags", but an extra thing or two that require(s) additional period(s) of time for CIC to check/clarify before...
