Getting paranoid, it's been 2 weeks days and no SA email yet. I just don't get this system,its not healthy worrying over stuff like this....

I got my AOR1 email on September 8th and I don't have have an SA email yet. So I'm over a month now.

I also have yet to receive my SA letter BUT I know I was approved since I called and they told me over the phone. Also, it states decision made on the sponsor side of ECAS and on the principal applicant side has a date that they started processing the application.

As the sponsor, I myself don't have any red flags but my husband (the PA) has some red flags on his application. So I don't know if that makes a difference.

If my recollection is good your application should be forwarded to Ottawa. So things should speed up a lot for you very soon.

Well, since your SO got his F_I clearing I think all other "RF" should be manageable, the worst case scenario would be a request for additional documents or infos.

it was forwarded to Ankara visa office in Turkey on September 27. They started working on his application on October 5. we got the PPR today..

Congratulations. You must have broken the record for the shortest processing time My application is received September 28 and I was able to link it October 5. VO is Ankara. Patiently waiting

That's serious, I hope we get our SA soon and get started fast. I called them today and they just told me to wait a little more, that it's all OK. It will all turn out for the best.

Thank you so much everyone for your messages. My husband and I can not believe it. I personally feel like someone has made a mistake. I was thinking of calling CIC to double check. It just doesn't make sense that his application was processed in one week. He has extensive travel history, lived in India for 2 years and he is an Iranian citizen. I thought his background check will take forever, but it seems the visa officer was satisfied with our application. We submitted all of his documents up front and we didn't have any red flag in our application. However, I will not rest until he has the visa on his passport. In case, the visa officer changes his mind or something else happens

Thank you so much. I sent my application to Mississauga on August 22, it was received on August 23 and my husband got the email for passport submission this morning (October 12). The request is asking him to submit his passport within 30 days, with 2 photos and a copy of the email. He could send it either in person or by an authorized representative. I hope you hear something soon..I had mentally prepared myself for not hearing anything until February or March.. I'm still in shock
