Also my wife's passport got only one name in her passport which is only her name showing up in Surname field and her firstname is blank, hope that is not confusing (I am guessing that could be an issue)
But I can check the ECAS update the way her passport is which I thought I could do the same to link her app.
If not i will keep trying again and again until i link this. Hopefully soon.
Wow! Congratulations! I think your the 1st August Applicant to receive PPR. We hope that our Visa Office is also fast like yoursaylar10 said:I am shaking.. My husband got request for passport submission...I can't believe this. It went by so quickly..I wasn't expecting it to be this quick..
How did you know that you do not have red flag?aylar10 said:Thank you so much everyone for your messages. My husband and I can not believe it. I personally feel like someone has made a mistake. I was thinking of calling CIC to double check. It just doesn't make sense that his application was processed in one week. He has extensive travel history, lived in India for 2 years and he is an Iranian citizen. I thought his background check will take forever, but it seems the visa officer was satisfied with our application. We submitted all of his documents up front and we didn't have any red flag in our application. However, I will not rest until he has the visa on his passport. In case, the visa officer changes his mind or something else happens
I will keep trying until this works out, i know i am doing something wrong but the name shouldnt be an issue since I tried the Application Number, UCI, Family name and left firstname blank.Fatima786 said:Hi

Even i (pa) dont have surname in passport. I wrote just given name . But after giving so many trials i was able to link my applicatiin by giving full name

Thank you. I honestly hope and pray that everyone will hear the good news they are waiting for and be reunited with their loved ones soon.knowledge101 said:No mistake! I've heard of cases where people were approved in just a few weeks so this is normal if you're lucky and your paperwork was in line. Congrats!
Thanks, I believe someone else had the speedy process with Colombia's visa office too, so I might not be the only one No, I haven't ordered my notes yet, I was planning to order them at the beginning of November. I think once my husband lands in Canada, I will order my notes because I am curious to know how they processed our application.akshatk said:congrats, it's a world record !!
