Well it asks on one of the forms...lying would be misrepresentation...so I told the truth...I don't know if they cared or not...all I know is that my PR got approved. I would NEVER ever do it again...but people make mistakes....I think beat way is being truthful and remorseful about it

My advice (Ivr been out of status for 8 years now so I Know what thats like)/would be to try and restore your status yes....if its refused you can Still apply for sponsorship because bei g In status is Not a requirement. In any case it will be good that you are trying to restore your status...

If they told you they corrected the mistake then it should be alright...However, it doesn't hurt to call and ask! For peace of mind :)...Just call them and see what's up! ...I have no clue about Outland waiting times....I would call to ask if I were you! G'luck!

I'm no expert....but if there is a Removal Order issued in his name...then he is technically Under a Removal Order...regardless if he appealed it. I would think he would have to wait to see the outcome.of the appeal ..and than sponsor you if the removal order is canceled.....again maybe some...
