Hello,
I need help about the way to proceed with the sponsorship application.
I came to Canada with a visitor visa in April 2015. In november I got married with an canadian permanent resident and my intention is to apply for an inland sponsorship application.
My question is: should I apply first for an out-of-status visitor visa restoration ( I am still within the 90 days) and after that applying for sponsorship and open work permit?
What will happen if I apply for restoration and it's refused?
Thank you very much for your help

My advice (Ivr been out of status for 8 years now so I Know what thats like)/would be to try and restore your status yes....if its refused you can Still apply for sponsorship because bei g In status is Not a requirement. In any case it will be good that you are trying to restore your status.... So try...if it doesn't work...at least CIC will see that you tried..and after that apply for sponsorship and OWP...good Luck!!
