I know it sucks.. I got GCMS notes yesterday, medical passed and criminality in progress, security and eligibility not started. I called CIC this morning asking about the BOWP And my PR application. She told me that i would receive an answer before May, because the processing time is 17 months...

Im almost 15 months, not IP yet. Im tired of this wait.

I heard there is another way but you have to pay extra 100 CAD, check cic website for updates about BOWP. If not you have to provide a job offer and they'll give you a closed WP beased on your job offer letter.

hey man, I'm Dec 9th applicant as well and IM waiting for my GCMS notes, I requested on Jan 20th because my application has not had any changes. I received an email last week answering a few questions about my medical because they expired already and the email stated that my medical has passed...

WELL I HOPE WE DONT HAVE TO WAIT THAT LONG.. IM GETTING TIRED NOW, I JUST WANNA LEAVE!! ALSO IM SO SCARED BECAUSE I GOT BOWP IN NOVEMBER AND I CHANGED MY JOB RIGHT AWAY AND I HAVE NOT REPORTED IT YET.

I got a BOWP as well but Im scared to let them know that I changed my job, I don't want them to cancel my nomination. I hope I get news abt the PR soon. Its been 14 months already and Im not even IP.

Well, my medicals will expire Jan 24th and im not even IP. They could ask to go under medicals again because i dont see any movements in my process.

What did they do this time? Did you have to pay the full amount again?

At least you are in process guys. Im Dec applicant and im not even in process, medicals will expire next month. Consider yourself lucky.

Hey man when did your medicals expire? It means they are requesting to do medicals again.

My medicals will expire on jan 24th, what i heard is that we can't go under medicals again without being requested, i heard also that sometimes the officer gives another 6 months validy to our medicals. Hopefully we dont have to go under medicals again. It would be frustrating paying 400 CAD one...

Nothing for me either. This is the answer that I got from CIO this week. "Good Morning Please be advised that your file is awaiting action/review by an officer. You will be notified in due course. Thank you" It's been a year already.

I heard that just traveling to the states you are able to come back without a visa, but if you go somewhere else you will need a visa or your PR card.

I am still waiting, but I know the reason, they haven't received my police clearance. I think I still have to wait like two more months.
