I hope we are in teh same batch because im tired and sick of this wait. My application is still In process and it feels like it'll never end. It's been more than 15 months actually.

Hey you got decision made since Oct and you haven't heard from them?? Did you contact CIC to check whats going on with your application?? Thats so weird.

At least i know I'm not the only december applicant. Last time i called CIC they told me my file has to be finilized in the next two months, maximum by middle of May.

You only have to submit police clearance from INDIA, they do RCMP on their own. If they'll need it, they would ask for it in that email. I got the same request a few months ago, i never sent the RCMP and when i got my GCMS notes, i found out they did the RCMP on their own. Just follow what the...

No they didn't ask for medicals re-assessment. I hope they don't ask me to do that again. I need PPR ASAP, I've lost two jobs opportunities.

Finally got IN PROCESS, after almost 15 months they started processing my application on Feb 26.

Don't worry, my medicals expired on Jan 24 and the answer that I've received from CIO is that my medicals passed the assessment already. So what I understand is that they won't ask me to do them again.

Yes thats true, but once you pass 17 months you have the right to push them and they will process your application faster.

If this helps, i was requested three times for the same document. They only document CIC accepts is the one requested in colombia following CIC website instructions. They won't accept the ones we send within canada. They require this document comes directly from colombia, and its send to CIO...
