No movement on my file. Got my GCMS notes now. The last time it was updated was 10th September (the same date I got IP). No movement whatsoever. Security check- Not yet started.

At least you are in process guys. Im Dec applicant and im not even in process, medicals will expire next month. Consider yourself lucky.

Hey, I applied November 10th online. Not sure if it's open or closed as it doesn't say in the approval letter but it doesn't matter to me because I wanna stay with the same employer anyway.

Will express entry effect PNP applicants who applied between Jan 2014 till Dec 2014?
I am worried that cic will return our fee and ask us to apply under Express entry. maybe this is the reason they have not issued any ppr's since November.

Pls share what do you think about this.

There is no basis for this statement. It would not make sense to go through all that processing on their side only to make people re-do it all. Furthermore in Canada December is the one month where the most vacations are taken other than summer months, with it being the christmas season I doubt anything will continue to be processed until next month.

I am pretty sure they are not that even stupid ENOUGH to go through all the processing again as they spent at least 9~10month to look at less than 50 pages documents LoL

and express entry only takes a portion of PNP applications IF people who are holding nominations HAVE APPLIED for the program.
which means they still keep processing in old way for the other portions of PNP....there is nothing to worry about it ;D
