Approved LMIA, when can I update EE profile with it?

Yep all within Canada. I flagpoled (although my situation was slightly different, the company got a pre-approved work permit via New Jersey as we had a few issues with my expired one). In theory you are just meant to take your LMIA and passport. In fact take as much as you can just in case...

Letter of employment and offer of employment for same employer

I'm actually wondering what the difference is too? I was working for the company under IEC WHV then they sponsored my LMIA and I got a permanent offer letter. However I don't know how a Letter of Employment differs from the offer it's all in the same document.

    Proof of Education Query

I purposely did not include my education on my profile as I didn't want to claim points etc. (didn't need the points and can't obtain them) However, my document checklist is asking me to prove that I finished my post secondary education - I DON'T KNOW WHERE THIS STUFF IS!! Which is why I didn't...

Travel History - Family (Post ITA - Question)

Re: Travel History - Family (Post ITA) So if it's a solo application it's just for me. They ask for your family information earlier on even if they aren't coming with you so I was a little confused. Thanks!

Travel History - Family (Post ITA - Question)

Hi I received my ITA this weekend and I'm going through my profile and notice that I have to provide 10 years of travel history (which is going to take ages for myself). However, they also ask about your family travel history?! Do they just mean if you have dependents or family moving to...

Reference letter addressed to CIC or AGENTS ACTING ON THEIR BEHALF, OK on ON?

Previous employers had to have a name and/or address for my reference letters too. A solicitor friend of mine told me to use the following: Citizenship and Immigration Canada Government of Canada So I think that should be fine!

    I have a doubt?????

If it's a normal LMIA that is $1,000 etc. when you enter it in your express entry profile the expiry date of the LMIA will be the expiry date of your work permit, so you kind of need your work permit first. I don't think you can in that case. I'm not expert though!

Canada Police Check - Name & Address of Organization...

No of course you don't, but the letter once you get into the pool advises you to obtain things like police certificates ahead of time as it can be quite time consuming. I want everything to go through as quickly as possible to avoid any delays or follow ups asking for anything. I've had enough...

Approved LMIA, when can I update EE profile with it?

Unfortunately, they won't speak to the employee/potential employee - they will only speak to the employer or their legal representative (if they have one).

Approved LMIA, when can I update EE profile with it?

A visa officer will be assigned to your case - he/she would have emailed/contacted your line manager - the person who told you it was approved. Everyone has their own officer assigned in their region. It's your choice to how they send you your LMIA (we chose fax and to hide confidential info...

Canada Police Check - Name & Address of Organization...

Hi I haven't received an ITA (only submitted my profile last week), however I have to get a police check for my job and thought I'd get the one for PR at the same time so I don't have to go back again. (just incase I leave the 'pool' have LMIA etc). However, does anybody know the name, phone...

Approved LMIA, when can I update EE profile with it?

That's right you do need to wait for it as it does ask for the system file number, you also need to collect your applicable work permit as the expiry date of your work permit will be the expiry date of your LMIA. On another note, ours was faxed to us the same day it was approved - not sure why...

Employer References - Addressed to who?

I have no idea, but they've asked me for an address. It's for the foreign reference, and no they can't supply paystubs or anything, I left that company in 2007. I have the offer letter still and my annual tax information and if it's not enough then fine don't count it. I have a LMIA so if I...
