For now it's the date you get from tracking the courier delivery. Once CIC begins processing your application, they will send you an acknowledgment of receipt (AOR) which will show the date they received it (usually, but not always, the delivery date)

The reason I was asking was because you said that the rest of the family had passed their medical. So I guess the medical results have been received status only comes on when the results for all the family members are received.
