I have, and I was told they just require a birth certificate. I'll try to see if I can get one faster

    Alberta Birth Certificate

Hi guys, I understand the process for adding a new child to the CEC application is to provide CIC with a birth certificate. I have been told it may take up to a month to get the birth certificate through a registry and am not sure if there is a faster process. Has anyone gone through the...

Medical check-up might indicate Diabetes!! Will it lead to rejection?

I am prediabetic, and I informed them at my medical. My only suggestion is to let them know, that way you won't be sent to an endocrinologist for diagnosis. There is just one extra test if you tell them you have diabetes

Medical check-up might indicate Diabetes!! Will it lead to rejection?

I did my medical in Calgary just this past week. So I doubt it's been uploaded yet. When did you do yours?

    help RE: x-ray and pregnancy

Yes, you can do the blood test, and may also be able to do the x-ray but that is a personal choice and depends on the x-ray technician. My wife had her x-ray done at 38 weeks, and was told by the doctor and well as the x-ray technician that it was relatively safe after 26 weeks.

Medical check-up might indicate Diabetes!! Will it lead to rejection?

PandFeb, I can't be sure about this, and different PPs may do this differently, but I agree with you that diagnosed diabetics are not referred to an endocrinologist, nor are they made to do HbA1C tests, or fasting glucose tests, since those are basically a diagnostic tool. My PP asked me to do a...

Fee Return for uncompleted CEC application

You can email them here... CPPO-Cost-Recovery@cic.gc.ca Give them your name, dob, application number, client ID, and type of application.

Fee Return for uncompleted CEC application

Application fees are only non-refundable once the application goes into processing (when you receive AOR). Therefore, you will not get your application fee back. You can, however, use the same RPRF for this application. If you have a receipt, just send it to them quoting this application number...

Fee Return for uncompleted CEC application

Did you prepay the fee using your credit card? If so, use the same receipt and send it to them with your new application.

    February 2013 Applications!!!

I don't think you can include your spouse in the biodata form since you're not married. Send it as is for now. If you get married before the process is complete, then inform them, and re-do the documents.

    February 2013 Applications!!!

I'm not sure if the help desk will be able to help you (nothing wrong with trying though). There have been other people who have received second requests for RPRF. If you've emailed them, I guess they'll make a note. You could request GCMS notes just to be sure.

    Change in height

I had entered 177 in my application and bio data request. That's the same as is on my drivers license. At my medical I was measured at 173. Don't think it makes a huge difference.

    February 2013 Applications!!!

I would suggest sending an email to cpp-ottawa and letting them know the reason for the delay. The hba1c test is a 3 month average and therefore I don't see the point in getting another medical done. All the test results are linked to your imei number and I presume any doctor will be able to see...

    February 2013 Applications!!!

Lithium, I have an application received status that has not changed to in process. I'm assuming once they receive my medicals, I may get a medical received status without being "in process". Don't know if this helps you.

Medical check-up might indicate Diabetes!! Will it lead to rejection?

Just took a look at the IMEI as well. I had been under the impression you would only be referred if the serum creatinine was abnormal, but you're right that in the flow chart it shows a referral for abnormal sugar levels. There may be a delay for you, but I'm sure you'll be fine since you have...

    RPRF Email Wording

Interesting....I wonder if mine is also recommended passed instead of passed. I'm due to receive my GCMS notes on the 20th, so I guess we'll see. I didn't think they sent out MRs to recommended passed applicants.

Medical check-up might indicate Diabetes!! Will it lead to rejection?

Did the DMP say they needed the endo's opinion for the CIC medical exam? The IMEI is pretty clear on what tests they need to do, and it seems your urinalysis and serum creatinine were fine, so you should be okay from a CIC perspective. Maybe the endo thing is just for you, and not related to the...

    RPRF Email Wording

Quick question for the rest of the applicants....I was just looking at the email I had received for RPRF and Biodata, and it said, "This is in reference to your application for a permanent resident visa. Admissibility review (security, criminality and/or medical) is still ongoing; you will be...

You're almost there, so the happiest of holidays to you! I'm still wondering when my ECAS will change to in process. Nitpicking, I know :D
