AOR Recived, MR Recived, but NO Biodata/RPRF and NO Change in E-CAS Status

It can be a number of factors. Nationality, names matching up in a database, date of birth, countries traveled to, time unaccounted for, etc. It's the same way with RCMP checks. Some people get them, some people don't. For most people CSIS will send a No Reportable Trace to CIC, and the PPR will...

AOR Recived, MR Recived, but NO Biodata/RPRF and NO Change in E-CAS Status

Usually security checks are the longest. CIC has no control over them as they are conducted by CSIS.

AOR Recived, MR Recived, but NO Biodata/RPRF and NO Change in E-CAS Status

I've seen a combination of approaches from the VOs in sending MRs and RPRFs. Sometimes the VO will "pass" the eligibility of an applicant and send the MR and RPRF. Other times, the applicant could be "recommended passed", and the VO may send the MR, RPRF, both, or neither. In case the RPRF is...

Waiting for PPR after Medicals - Add your case here

It's normal for the security process to be several months long for applicants from certain countries. I'm from Pakistan, and for applications that i have followed, the wait time for the security check can be 4-6 months.

Personal History (question 8) since 18th birthday

My understanding is that the form requires details for the last 10 years or from the age of 18 if you are under 28. There have been discussions regarding this on this forum and others. The old wording for this form used to be: "...for the prior 10 years or since 18, whichever comes first"...

GCMS notes saying - Job duties dont match NOC code

I think this was wasters' original post for notes on his GCMS: declared NOC 2283 F/T QA tester for XXXX letter confirms dates of employement , position and salary $40 k/yr . 2011 T4 from this employer shows reported earnings of $6.3 K . letter provides a brief decription of duties- these duties...

GCMS notes saying - Job duties dont match NOC code

Winterfox, I think most of the people on this thread are ones with their file under review because the duties don't match. I also believe wasters and yamahar (sp?) just got their MR or RPRF requests...

    February 2013 Applications!!!

Most MP offices should be familiar with the process. Just tell them how long you have been waiting and that you would just like to find out where your application is at. I'd give them the file number, client ID, name, date of birth. They will let you know if there is anything else they need.

That's cutting it a little close. Why don't you just apply for the BOWP now?

New CEC - Jan 2013 Applications

TRV is only needed to re-enter Canada. You don't need it to continue staying in Canada.

New CEC - Jan 2013 Applications

    1. Firstly, you can only apply for the BOWP before your current work permit expires. Once you've applied, you are allowed to stay in Canada until a decision is made on your BOWP application, even if your old one expires. This is known as Implied Status. You will have to continue to abide by the...

New CEC - Jan 2013 Applications

    1. I wouldn't bet on receiving your passport by April 6th if you send it on March 31st. You are not allowed to overstay once your work permit expires. You will have to take steps to renew it before it expires. You are eligible for a bridging open work permit since you already have a PR...
