yes normal, in the mail they include a letter telling you that they took copies of your diplomas after verification of the original ones, and they ask you to wait for further updates.. I have been for 8 months after they returned my original diplomas and nothing yet.. according to the process...

call the embassy in Amman and get a straight reply, don't waste time waiting, you only have 30 days since you received the email

some files since those dates are getting in process recently, so hopefully soon they update your ecas..

easy if only 3 days, better than 30 days and then the whole process for 4 years again :P they probably put the lives of too many people on hold, but that moment of the visa let us forget how long it took..

you know better if there is a problem with your security, as long as it is clear, you should keep the faith you will be in Canada before the expiry of your medicals ;) good luck!

seriously! they make us wait forever with no expectations and then suddenly they give us the couple of months to arrange everything for landing! -___-

guys, they still give Visas only on Tuesday and Thursday ? or they can request PPR anyday ?

2 updating emails in the same month, maybe finalizing your file before they request the passport? this must be pretty soon , but still so random to request a CV
