how much does the evaluation of studies take time? i submitted my file in march or april 2013, received two mails saying to keep waiting, i would study and graduate in there and still the evaluation not done!

in progress means your file is complete and it is in queue when it is your file turn, they will start with eligibility and admissibility then they will request medicals.. those were the steps of my file when i requested CAIPS

what does the ''application status reason '' show in the first page ?

oops! i think you are just unlucky!! you applied to federal 3 months before me, when i requested CAIPS it showed my first office Bucharest and second Beirut, i received my medicals last september, hope they are processing your file now in Beirut and not just held on.. Good Luck!

if you are gonna expect it tomorrow to ease it on you today, tomorrow will come and be tougher, the fact of waiting for it, makes it more difficult day after day, just predict the maximum time frame 8 months, and plan your life in lebanon till then..

Not bad to live your life normally, because no body can confirm that we will have our visas before 2 years from now!! weirdo immigration system sometimes made people retake their medicals twice and still waiting! there are always ways to work out your business in lebanon while you are...

dont we have to wait for the few millions fast tracked processed files from philippine to be done before hoping our visas again? :D

positive logical expectation, we all wish that, but beirut already has backlogs, not sure they can deal with bunch of files at once even if at the last step..

advising their people not to arrive to lebanon so no wonder they are not so happy to take lebanese to canada at this time!

the ones who didnt receive their medicals are other VO offices and not bucharest.. ma 3m bkhawfek bs just telling you to check what is wrong, it is your consultant task to contact them and ask why the delay.. Good luck!

we are getting addicted to this waiting, when we get PPR emails we will feel disappointed for no more wait..

true, but apparently they are not caring for what passed, they are just fixing for the future process.. logically they should be aiming to solve all these problems by the end of the year, unless they want to involve 2014 in the waste of time as well..

that way you said would finalize half the current backlog, but it seems they are looking to finalize future backlogs by finalizing all files at each stage.. now who apply federal receive medicals right away so they took rid of that backlog, now it is the last step backlog.. after that, federal...

obviously it is system and not file/applicants issues for the delay.. like medicals there will be all visas at one time
