no good news for 2004 applicants.

I don't see how the time lines could possibly get any shorter for people who applied in 2004. No new applications are coming in so every day that passes the processing time is going up. Maybe I am misunderstanding what you are saying.

FSW: Points-adaptability-what if relative dies during application processing

What a morbid thought. According to the processing guide, the criteria on which points are awarded must be met at both the time of application and when the visa is issued: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english//resources/manuals/op/op06-eng.pdf

Is there any tax on salary if immigrant is working out of canada

See the following. http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/tx/nnrsdnts/ndvdls/nwcmr-eng.html http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/E/pub/tg/t4131/t4131-e.html#P51_1487 I don't think a foreign employer will withhold taxes, but you're responsible for them. If this is a position with a Canadian company, they may be...

Going Smooth, until a Problem in Medicals happened - Need Advice???

So is surgury. There's plenty of people walking around with debris inside them. I had a teacher with 32 shards of metal in his leg from a booby trap in Vietnam. If it's not caused any issues for 18 years, why would you risk a surgical procedure to remove it?

    Please Suggest : Whether 213 or 2171 ??

Neither of these are in the current list of acceptable occupations under Federal Skilled Worker found here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who-instructions.asp#list so at this time, you're not eligible to apply under that path. If that list changes and admits either code...

    Protech Immigration

How could they apply for immigration and not tell you what category you are applying for? You're responsible for the information in your application being true, not them.

    very urgent please help.

They are always copies, they copy the transcript and put their stamp or seal on it and seal it in an envelope. I think they just mean they don't want you making a copy of what the university gave you. Don't open the envelope from the university and send it with your documents.

    "my residential proof in CA"

Unfortunately, according to the guide here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/5196E4.asp I think unless you can obtain some document from your employer that you will be relocated to Canada before your brother lands or unless you maintain an address in Canada (both of...

Can a PR "FREEZE" his immigration process?

I don't think this is possible, I think the only way you dont have to meet the obligation is if you are overseas married to a Canadian or working overseas for a Canadian employer. See this http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/5445EA.asp

    Returned Documents

Well, according to your old post (http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/moving-out-t36999.0.html;msg243372#msg243372), the advice PMM gave you was: (emphasis mine) I don't know if you have any options at this point except to send the additional documents and hope. Since...

    Cost of Living in Canada

The sales tax varies from province to province. Ontario and British Columbia just combined the GST (federal sales tax) and PST (province sales tax) into one HST (harmonized tax). I was in Ontario the day the new HST went into effect, so there were lots of news articles about it. It doesn't apply...

anyone get the PR without submitting the FBI clearence check?

Good idea. Although it should be possible to do your own, if you had them rejected it might be helpful to have a professional do it. A pro should also do them over for free if they were to reject them again. The police station only did two copies of mine and the FBI was able to issue the PC with...

    funds required for FSW

I disagree. According to the processing instructions here w w w.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/op/op06-eng.pdf "In terms of funds required, the number of the applicant’s family members includes both accompanying and non-accompanying dependants." This reads to me that if your family...

    funds required for FSW

I believe you have to show funds for yourself, your wife and any dependent children. I don't know if you can claim dependents will not be following. If you have other family members that you live with now like parents or in-laws, I don't think they count since you couldn't bring them over on the...
