Adding Spouse after I got PR approval before getting the PR.

I think you will have to contact your visa office and ask what they need, I am not sure. Is there contact information on the letter they sent? Maybe someone with more experience can answer the details.

Adding Spouse after I got PR approval before getting the PR.

I don't believe this is correct. The processing instructions here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/English//resources/manuals/ip/ip02-eng.pdf Indicate to me that if you had a spouse at the time of the PR who was not examined, then they will be excluded from the Family Class. I believe you will have to...

BEWARE- The cheats are back in action.

Re: cheats This article was taken from the Times of India. http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/delhi/Fake-visa-racket-busted-three-held-/articleshow/6122034.cms I always felt it was a fairly respectable paper.

    I am in shock

According to everything I have seen and read, the quota only applies to post-June 26th applications. It's unlikely that is the issue, it's probably just a routine mistake, like they sent out the letter whilst they were still waiting for some security check to come back.

my lawyer says buffalo sucess rate is 99% for fsw

I'm not sure where they got that number. Do they mean their success rate for cases they accept is 99% or the success rate for everyone applying is 99%. If the latter, I don't know how they would know. If the former, I am, as always, skeptical.

    self employed

I do not believe Major Group 52 is appropriate unless you derive a significant income from those activities or are a well known practicioner. I think it would be like proving you have experience in a listed NOC for FSW, you would need to document actual and substantial work experience in theatre...

    Security Checks

Do not hide anything from CIC, especially about security matters. They are quite capable of finding your lies and then they will automatically reject you for material misrepresentation.

What will be happened with cases exceeding 1000 limit

I do not believe this to be true. The processing guide says that if the applications are found to be ineligible for processing, the application will be returned and fees refunded. http://www.cic.gc.ca/ENGLISH/resources/manuals/op/op06-eng.pdf

    Explanation of "Processing time"

Read it like this, 30% of all cases during this period were completed in only 7 months, 50% of all cases were processed in 11 months (this figure includes those cases processed in 7 months or less)...80% of all the cases during this period were finalized within 15 months, inlcuding all those...

Can retirement account be considered valid settlement fund?

I am skeptical whether you can claim the value of an investment like a 401(k) without cashing it out. The value of the fund could theoretically be zero at the time your application is accepted. I tried to find something definite in the Buffalo office instructions and couldn't. I wouldn't risk it...

    Help plz............

You're not supposed to borrow your funds from someone else, it states this in the instructions. You will need to be able to prove you have the required funds throughout the process. I'm not sure how often they check, but they may ask for several month's worth of bank statements during the...

    wrong evaluation

It's not an immigration term, it just means the characteristics of a population. I have to assume in this case he is talking about points for age, but I have no idea. The demographics of a population are things like the age distribution, sex distribution, income, etc. The kind of stuff the...

    Bank Account For Immigrant

One thing not to overlook is credit unions (caisses populaires in Quebec). Canada has one of the highest credit union enrollment rates in the world and, typically, charges for banking and rates of loans and other instruments are better than commercial banks. You may have to do some hunting to...

FBI Report Request delivered in OH instead of WV??

It says it was signed for by USPS, it's possible the FBI center has some arrangement for everything to be delivered USPS and Columbus is the nearest facility. Since this is the FBI we're talking about, I wouldn't be surprised if they screen everything from all carriers at a central offsite...

    Primerica/Sunlife Financial Analyst job

It's probably like most of the insurance & investing companies, they have commissioned brokers who perform assessments for customers. Their pay comes from selling financial instruments, insurance, etc. to the customers. I don't think it's a scam per se, but it's probably a lot of work for a...
