I guess it depends per warehouse, since Ottawa/Gatineau didn't seem to have any issues, however since Sydney, NS gets re-directed to Halifax, NS and they process all the mail from the entire province there (I believe), it might be possible.. Let's hope for the best!

Call the call center and enquire about the status of your pr card. If already mailed out they will tell you on which date.

4-6 weeks, then interview about 2 weeks later. And you're supposed to be able to still see your application, up to 180 days after landing. Once landed, it should change to complete. Right now it should say decision made.

Aren't these cards sent out from Sydney, NS? If from Ottawa it's ridiculous, since I live in Gatineau (10 minutes from Ottawa) and mine was mailed out 7 days ago. Didn't receive it yet either so far.

I confirmed with an agent that PR Cards will be sent out via courier in case of a work stoppage at Canada Post, most likely they'll switch to Purolator, which is mostly owned by Canada Post

No, no request for new photos but you can call the call centre and ask the agent to send you the email for new photos that you might get at some point, so you can mail them new pictures proactively with an explanation letter to avoid delays if they need new photos

Just called, landed on May 3. Told me that the card was mailed out yesterday. I hope the same thing and that it arrives before a lock-out/strike!

United Kingdom is not a country in the sense that it covers multiple countries. Therefore I would go with England, hope it helps

If you got married in Canada, you can just order a new one at the provincial vital statistics department website. why bother with CIC at all for that? Also, it will be a more recently issued one, which in some countries can be an issue.

I also just got 1, but just go to another Service Canada office, because they should give him the new SIN number with COPR and passport as proof of identity

How long does it currently take on average to receive the PR card in the mail after landing? I landed May 03, 2016 and am currently waiting to receive the card, if anyone could add me to the list I've been seeing in this topic that would be appreciated.

The same error was on my COPR and I noticed at my landing. The officer changed it to my first ever entry into Canada. They said it might give issues when you retire eventually or when you apply for citizenship. You can always request an amendment via CIC website
