    Refused from cec

Ohh so they are really checking experience I thought that they approve all of us. You can apply under AINP but you need to pass red seal exam for chefs/cooks. To do that you will need to prove to AIT that you've worked 7020 hours in the industry (doesn't really matter which country).

Yeah so if you want to change employers as a carpenter: 1) Go to any carpentry company and apply for a job. 2) If they accept you, take job offer letter from them. 3) With job offer letter&confirmation from AIT you can go to the border and get new WP. 4) If you don't want to go to the border...

    Any idea?

Unfortunately Food and Beverage Servers (NOC 6453) belongs to skill type C. You can't get an OPW based on your WP/LMO. All you can do is: 1) find your partner a job with LMO and then apply for WP; 2) apply for working holiday visa if eligible; 3) go to college/university and get student WP

    Switching job after applying CEC

No your CEC application is based on your past experience. Although make sure you are in good relation with your previous employer just because CIC can call/ask for additional documents to your application.

    Any idea?

I think what scylla just asked you is what is your job and what skill type. If your occupation is in NOC 0,A or B your spouse can get an open work permit for duration of your LMO/WP. All you have to do is just check your WP for occupation.

Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP) - Stealing Jobs from Canadians?

Well don't get me wrong guys but I'm writing here about TFW in Food Service Industry. Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP) - Stealing Jobs from Canadians?

Yeah I totally agree with kafka khaos even though I'm TFW. I was talking to my friend lately and she said that couple years ago wages were higher than they are right now. Since Canada started to import TFW to work in McDonalds and other fast foods wages went down. It's true and don't forget...
