Hey Meeshy, we were requested for more information as well and had all the same things you included, plus more! (except we didn't include an affidavit) we had letters from about 5 different people, but none were stat declarations. Maybe this is a new thing and they are being more strict with...

Hey BCMom, if she did not have a FM2 or FM3 residency visa (only the 6 month FMM visa) then she will need to pay a fine upon leaving Mexico. I'm not sure what the fine is. I don't see her having a problem re-entering Mexico tho.. If I were her though, I would ask when she is heading back to...

husband who had a common law relationship

Have you looked at the country guide? Where are you located? Some countries don't have separation certificates. If it asks that specifically on your country guide then I would recommend adding whatever proof you have that their relationship is over. I've found in going through this process and...

Normally, westjet flies direct to Vancouver on Saturday. They also fly direct to Comox on Saturdays if you are going to the island. This is only the case in high season so they should resume this month!

Oh thank goodness you had someone there to do it on your behalf that's awesome! It seems really silly that they can't be done locally... or the fact that we had to get 3 different ones, although the state is no longer needed.

Hey Eduram, Are you referring to the PGR one or the SSR? i thought the SSR was just a walk in the office and walk out with the paper type of police check in Mexico City? I really hope so. We just wanted to confirm if they were open on Nov.19th as I hear it's a holiday so we need to get their...
