That´s what I thought too! He doesn´t really look that bad...just feels bad. But anyways we should know if it´s dengue or not by tonight.

I think we are going to have to try it, since his visa expires on Nov. 7th!
Yeah you have no choice. They will not extend your visa for any reason. So get on that plane!

Good news! It isn´t dengue! And the doctor gave the ok for travel!

Hey guys, I have a couple of questions. I am currently living in cancun with my common-law boyfriend. Everything has been going very well with our application so far. Sent July 17, Sponsorship approval August 27. AOR and request for PGR october 12. We have not yet recieved the letter from the embassy for the PGR so we just sent of the prepaid way bill today. I was wondering if anyone had any idea how long it would take for them to send the letter again? My boyfriend and I only get 1 day off a week to get things done so we are hoping to get it by next wednesday :)

Hey meeshy, welcome!

My common-law husband and I also resided in Cancun, but now we are in Canada waiting out his PR visa! Just to let you know, there is a PGR office in Cancun, they should be sending it soon to you so you wont have to travel very far for it. My mother-in-law also told us that they are not very busy and very nice at the office! So it shouldn't take too much time on your day off :)

Good to know! Its the attorney generals office right?

Also, what is the address that you send the documents too?
The address on the letter is
Immigration Section – Section de l’immigration
Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra 193,
Colonia Granada,
Del. Miguel Hidalgo,
11520,
Mexico D.F. Mexico

But the address my lawyers gave me is

The Canadian Embassy
Immigration Section
Schiller 529
Col. Polanco
11560, Mexico D.F.
Mexico

Which one is correct?

Oscar, you select "applying at an office In Canada" because you're sending everything in one package to the Case processing Centre in Mississauga, Ontario. so make one single payment of CAD $1040, the online tool will ask you to print a copy of the receipt, you will then fill out the receipt by hand with the personal details of the person making the payment. Finally you'll include the printed receipt in your application package bound for Mississauga.

Farfelu, Thanks so much for your response. :)

Ok, so you confirmed that my wife can infact use the Online Payment method, even though she's living with me here in Mexico. Great! I guess my only question now is...

At which address should we send our application package?

Spouses, common-law or conjugal partner and dependent children:
CPC Mississauga
P.O. Box 3000, Station A
Mississauga, ON
L5A 4N6

OR?

RPRF payments or other correspondence:
CPC Mississauga
P.O. Box 6100, Station A
Mississauga, ON
L5A 4H4

oscar, you send your documents to the PO Box 3000 address (<a href="http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/3900ETOC.asp#3900E6">the first one in your post</a>). I'm assuming you're still working on the Federal immigration portion and will later submit the Quebec application to the MICC.

Also keep in mind that you can ship your package by courier if you dont consider postal service reliable where you are. If you do use a courier service (UPS, DHL, FedEx...) you'll need to ship to the courier address:
2 Robert Speck Parkway,
Suite 1200
Mississauga, ON
L4Z 1H8

Let us know your timeline.

Yeah the address is: Avenida Lopez Portillo S/N . Col. Region 93 . Cancún Q. Roo . Tel. (998)840-4186

:) Just be sure to call ahead and ask what requirements they need. When we called they said they wanted passport size photos but on the PGR site they say they want the oval shape, people have been turned back because of stuff like that so its always good to call ahead. Also, make sure your bf has his precartilla and/or cartilla liberada or else they wont do a PGR check on him!

Does anyone know the number for the SSP place?
we tried the one on the website 55-1103-6000 and nobody is picking up.
Is there a direct number for the address in Calzada de Tlalpan No. 2962, Colonia Espartaco, Delegación Coyoacán??

Thanks so much :)
