If this is an AOR, then yay good news! When was your file transferred to Mexico? Any mention of extra documents that they need being that you are not from Mexico? Was it an email or a letter? Sorry for the million questions but I am curious & impatient :)
My file was transferred august 1st, firts they called me asking me my email address and 3 minutes later i got the email
but they didnt ask me anything they just told me we want to speed up the process and if we need something we will let u know,
So many things come to my head right now, i dont know if im nearing the end of the process, i just hope things goes smooth and fast

The thing is that when we applied we sent everything that we were requested, that means our marriage certificate,
Medical exams, the police record and many other things including our daugther birth certificate.
The only thing that i didnt sent was my passport

To me this sounds very positive - they are giving you an opportunity to show your amazing, genuine, real-life relationship in a way that cannot be conveyed through electricity bills ;)

Oh how I wish you were the visa officer looking at our file lol. I really hope you are right! I guess it can be interpreted either way but of course for the most part I'm choosing to see it as a negative thing. Haven't seemed to quite get the negative out of my head!
Thanks so much for your encouragement <3

Was just searching for the tracking page that was created on this section, and can't find it! I am just wondering what the average turnaround time is, once the passport reaches the embassy, to getting it back in our hands....

Hey guys just got a quick question.
My passport was issued a year ago in illinois, US. So i was wondering if it would be better for me to replace it
for a new passport issue in my country.
Although i remember that when i was filling up the applications there was this question of the passport # and where was it issued
Could my passport being issued in another country be a problem? Advices are going to be more than welcome

Hi again guys,

I have a question regarding the payment... My sponsor (Canadian citizen) is living with me here in Mexico City. We plan on moving to Quebec, but first we need to pay the Federal application. My question is:

Since both my wife and I live in Mexico, can we make the payment online? The payments we're making are:

$75 - Sponsorship application (per application)
$475 - Principal applicant
$490 - Right of Permanent Residence Fee

If yes, which link do we need to select out of these two?

"If you are applying at an office outside Canada" OR "If you are applying at an office in Canada"

My third questions is: Are all 3 payments made to the same address?

The payment for RPRF ($490) would be already sent with the application in the first place, so I'm wondering if there would be a need for us to send the RPRF receipt somewhere else? The reason why I'm asking is because I saw these 2 different addresses...

Spouses, common-law or conjugal partner and dependent children:
CPC Mississauga
P.O. Box 3000, Station A
Mississauga, ON
L5A 4N6

AND

RPRF payments or other correspondence:
CPC Mississauga
P.O. Box 6100, Station A
Mississauga, ON
L5A 4H4

Thanks in advance!
