You need a job offer and an approved LMIA - and then you can apply for a work permit. You cannot reapply for the bridging open work permit until you have a valid work permit again.

There is no BOWP specific application. You will apply for a normal work permit. When you have your work permit approved, the paper will say that its expiry date should be considered also for your TRV.

No - you can't. Bridging Open Work Permits are only available to those who have applied for PR through an economic class (e.g. Federal Skilled Worker, Canadian Experience Class). They are not available to those being sponsored through Family Class.

Only if it is a closed open work permit with the employer named on the work permit such as an ICT. Otherwise it doesn't count as a job offer under EE. So ICT would count but not PGWP or SOWP.

No - you unfortunately don't qualify for a bridging work permit or open work permit if you apply outland (through London). If you apply inland, you will qualify for an open work permit once you have first stage approval (which takes about six months after you submit the application).

I think you have to tell ANIP and CIC about changes in employment status. But are you on closed work permit because you said your work permit is tied to the employer. You can apply for open work permit through bridging work permit.
