No you can't work after your PGWP expires. If you have not received AOR you should switch your status to visitor status so you still have status in Canada if your application gets sent back. You should include your OWP with your inland spousal sponsorship application. You will get the OWP approximately 4 months later as long as there were no errors or things missing on the application.

Thanks for replying.

I have my PR file ready along with OWP paper application, but as per the link below, i am not sure if ill be able to work after my current work permit expires. I think ill be receiving my OWP after 4 months. When i am waiting for OWP will i go out of status when my current work permit expires.

Also please check this link -https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/work-canada/extend-permit/bridging-open-work-permit.html

As it says bridging work permit is only under few economic classes.

Thanks for your help!!

You will still need to wait until you receive your OWP. I takes approximately 4 months.
Thanks Cannuck.

I have just called CIC couple of times and they have told me that If you are on PGWP you can continue work on implied status when you submit for Family class sponsorship along with OWP.She also told me that people with IEC cant work on implied statusDo you think its different for IEC and PGWP?

I just dont want to lose my job :((
