Not fair at all. We all have been waiting for almost a year now and no news so far. I am trying to b patient but logically it is driving me crazy. Not sure about others but sure enough my file is sitting in a corner collecting dust. I sit here and wonder that just how busy these guys are that they don't get 15 mins to pick up a file and start processing various items like security and eligibility etc.
which VO did they send your application to? I suggest writing a webform inquiry, because thats what we did and they actually got back to us after a month with a proper answer regarding our application that it was due to be reviewed within next month instead if the normal automated " its still under a year processing time" reply

LVO and July 9th will be One year... Whats your timeline and when did they tell you that your file will be reviewed?

July 31st applicant, received an update on our application from LVO, pre-arrival service. Are we close to being completed? Is it mandatory to attend these services and also it states online that you can only attend if you have been requested PPR, so does that mean we shouldn't get into the program until final decision?
Hey! When did you receive your pre-arrival? I am a July 23 applicant and received our pre-arrival on June 8.

Ok, I seem to recall they changed the Mississauga to Sydney around 10th of July and few people who applied in the timespan of 8-15 July, for some reasons they received the replies late for their 1st AOR compared to late July applicants. For example, here is my timeline:

File received: July 9th
AOR 1, SA: Nov 5th
Meds Request: Nov 7th
File Transferred LVO: 17th Dec

Now based on the trend, I feel like I will probably be waiting another month before I hear anything. And that's just me using past experience and common sense but who know what exactly is gonna happen.

Nevertheless, hoping to hear something really soon as I will be hitting one year mark on 9th of July. I have also sent an email inquiry to LVO, hoping to nudge them.

You are not alone!!! Most of us on this forum have to endure the long and painfully agonizing waiting time. I have 6 months and my file has not been trasfered to the Overseas Visa Office. I have 6 more months to go. As you say that the files are sitting in a corner collecting dust and in the meantime we, the sponsors/applicants don't hear a thing for months...

Too early to have a response by now. Please wait for another 2 months until you hear more from the local VO.

That’s a long time waiting for PPR. has your BGC started?

Bgc was completed on November 9 ,when 2018 was at Mississauga. Not sure what ndvo is checking. But I know applicants who received pre arrival in Feb and March are still waiting too.
