under activity when it says security screening new value not started does it have a date?

No. Under activity. You should have 3 activityies with sub activity:security screening and one has a not started date. That date is actually the date they sent your file to CSIS if your security has started.

Yes you are aright, 2 activities not started. As I said the security & criminality and for both the updated date is 2016/08/11

You should request a csis report. It seems 11 aug they sent your security to csis.
 
Hi guys;
It's an update from me I just received an email from Vienna to send an updated schedule a background declaration so they can finalise our application.
Do anybody know how long from this to DM and PPR?
 
Finally!!! We received the COPR on August 15, 2017. Took about 1 year as the website predicted for US outland applicants. Took 5 weeks from the time I noticed the Decision Made. Our VO was Ottawa.

Hello everyone, I'm a July 2016 application. My application has passed the standard time of my country; they haven't started background check yet, however, they requested my background check in March. Can you suggest me what to do now? I'm from Vietnam and it says 13 months for standard processing time; and does anyone from July 2016 applications still waiting like me?

Yes my 12 months passed by on the 19th of July and still waiting. No news don't know why it takes so long for 2016 applicants.

For Australia it's 9 months. We've been waiting 14 months. We have tickets to go to Canada in December and I'm really hoping that we have a decision by then. It's $4000 every time we go + the cost of accommodation, car rental, etc.

Oh, and I requested the notes 6 weeks ago but not had them emailed to me yet, either. :mad:
