For Australia it's 9 months. We've been waiting 14 months. We have tickets to go to Canada in December and I'm really hoping that we have a decision by then. It's $4000 every time we go + the cost of accommodation, car rental, etc.

Oh, and I requested the notes 6 weeks ago but not had them emailed to me yet, either.
Sent them an email with your tracking number that you got when requesting the notes. After that you will get them in 5 days. I really hope they finalize the 2016 applicants... I'm in mine 14 month as well. Should receive my notes on Monday the 25th fingers crossed...

Thanks. I'll give that a go and see what happens.

Fingers crossed that you get your notes on Monday

HI ALL!

We filed our application July 2016 and our letter AOR said that our application was in Bucharest and the wait time was 14 months. this summer I found out that, actually no, our application is in Amman Jordon and the wait is 24 months. They moved our application with no indication why and without informing us at all.

1) are they allowed to do that?
2) why would they do that?

Did this happen to anyone else?

1) Yes, they are allowed to do that
2) If one or both of you falls into the area for processing in Amman then that might be why. Perhaps Bucharest is experiencing a huge influx of applications and they're outsourcing to other processing centres. Any number of reasons, really.

It sucks, but unfortunately CIC has done it. Hopefully you'll hear something soon and you can get your COPR before too much longer. Fingers crossed for you.
