WHAT is going on in the LVO? Anyone heard anything?

London LVO has picked up on a very bad habit of sending pre-arrival letters but then doing security check and taking very long for it till medical expires. Done this to few people now I think including Yulia.

Spartan84 is another user hit by this bad habit.

Me, exactly same dates.

We sent a IRCC webform request to update our e-mail address on Jan 28th...It said they will repond in the next 5 business days, but we have not got any yet...Should we call them and find out whether they have updated it?

@YULIA-2016
The parents got there passport request the same day as decision made, which is February 6. Also put us down for March 20 as the invitation date.

It’s too late for 2018, but anybody who doesn’t have enough income to meet the low income cutoff can cash in their RRSP’s. It counts as income. We did it for all 3 years and we were approved as a sponsor. This is the reason we only sent in our SIN instead of the NOA. Remember you must do this before the year end .

PGP 2019.
I am re-posting my query and will appreciate response from those who have successfully submitted their documents which have been accepted by IRCC.
  1. With my parents sponsorship application I will need to submit supporting documents such as photocopies of the birth certificates, marriage certificate, school mark sheets, passports, govt. issued IDs (all are in English, hence do not need translation) etc. Do we need to get these copies attested or certified before submission.?
  2. Also, I assume, we only need to submit copies of main pages of the passport. Am I correct?
Thanks in advance...

I got a headache reading your question!

Basically, your question is how your mom can provide your grandparents' marriage certificate.

Are you sponsoring your grandparents or your parents? If you are sponsoring your mom, you do not need to provide grandparents' marriage certificate. You only need to show your parents' marriage certificate unless CIC changed it in 2019 PGP. I do not see the relevance in providing your grandparents' marriage certificate, as you are only expected to provide evidence that you are indeed sponsoring your parents.

If CIC insists on getting your grandparents' marriage certificate, write a letter or sworn statement at a notary public explaining why you cannot provide grandparents' marriage certificate.
I'm not sponsoring my step grand dad but I would like to sponsor them in near future as well as , I just wanted to put step grand dad's name in all applications so cic will not confused in future, but the issue I've is all my moms documents have old fathers name who was divorced in 60s,

Do you think only notarized affidavits are okay for CIC ?
