i got AOR yesterday ,applied December 12 th 2017
Mmm, What do you mean you did a sponsorship for your dad and his wife? Who is the sponsor? If you would sponsor your dad and his wife, you cannot just file the application. You need to anticipate the lottery draw, and if you are chosen, then you can file the sponsorship. The spousal sponsorship and parents sponsorship are totally different process.Did a sponsorship application for my dad and his wife. It was received on December 4 and there has been no response. I tried calling the 1-888 number but it requires an application number I do not have.
I am interested to hear back from the group on this as well. From what I understand, I’m unable to link my own at this point as the sponsor, but I do have my husband’s linked - he’s the PA. Did your letter as sponsor have your own UCI?Hi all,
PA Aor and sponsor Aor received yesterday (both via email). We got the sponsor Aor first and then the PA (myself) one. We linked via the sponsor email and I thought we had to link via my Aor too - is that incorrect? When I linked the second time it 'moved' over to the second account. I guess the question is do we both link to accounts or is it just managed via one account?
Thank you!
(Dec 13 applicant)
From what I understood reading forums and basic guide you can only link your application to one account at time (I think it even states somewhere on the basic guide). So looks like it’s the PA who has to link their application to their account because it’s the PA who’d have to be submitting Schedule A and PCC, not the sponsor.I am interested to hear back from the group on this as well. Thank you! Yes that had been my understanding and is true with my experience to date. From what I understood reading forums and basic guide you can only link your application to one account at time (I think it even states somewhere on the basic guide).
