It is good seeing many applications getting progress. A wise man once said "there is no progress without struggle".

Did a sponsorship application for my dad and his wife. It was received on December 4 and there has been no response. I tried calling the 1-888 number but it requires an application number I do not have.

Mmm, What do you mean you did a sponsorship for your dad and his wife? Who is the sponsor? If you would sponsor your dad and his wife, you cannot just file the application. You need to anticipate the lottery draw, and if you are chosen, then you can file the sponsorship. The spousal sponsorship and parents sponsorship are totally different process.

Hello everyone

My husband's application was received on December 6 and I received AOR1 on February 5th.

I've entered my case into the MyImmiTracker, mentioned earlier in this thread. It seems like I'm the only case entered in December 2017 with PA Visa office of Mexico City. Anybody else going through that office?

Good luck to us all! I can't even count how many times I reviewed everything before submission... meticulous. Fingers crossed.

Hi all,

PA Aor and sponsor Aor received yesterday (both via email). We got the sponsor Aor first and then the PA (myself) one. We linked via the sponsor email and I thought we had to link via my Aor too - is that incorrect? When I linked the second time it 'moved' over to the second account. I guess the question is do we both link to accounts or is it just managed via one account?

Thank you!

I am interested to hear back from the group on this as well. From what I understand, I’m unable to link my own at this point as the sponsor, but I do have my husband’s linked - he’s the PA. Did your letter as sponsor have your own UCI?

From what I understood reading forums and basic guide you can only link your application to one account at time (I think it even states somewhere on the basic guide). So looks like it’s the PA who has to link their application to their account because it’s the PA who’d have to be submitting Schedule A and PCC, not the sponsor.

Thank you! Yes that had been my understanding and is true with my experience to date.

I was just wondering--I'm learning more the more I read and as I familiarize myself with the spreadsheet and all of the acronyms. There are a lot!

Is it normal that my ECAS - PRAS would have a date (29 January 2018) but I haven't yet received written confirmation of SA? I'm confused because it seems like most people get the SA before there's a date set to In Progress on ECAS. Any input and ideas everybody?
