The online application expects you to be in Canada. Else the Physical presence calculation is not the right number. You can search the forum where some have given a dummy return date and attached a letter of explanation. Only problem is it will trigger interview and also slow down your application processing.Hi Guys, a quick question - Can we submit the application for citizenship while being in India? All criteria met.

You know how is it? Thank you for your answer
1) You can use Passport & DL or PR Card & DLHi everyone, I am preparing my citizenship application and have a few questions:
1) Which 2 pieces of personal identification are best to use for the application (Passport, drivers license, PR card)?
2) English results - I did the test over 2 yrs ago for the Permanent Resident application. Do I submit this again? Plus my accompanying spouse never needed to do the English test before, will she need to do it now?
Your help would be greatly appreciated.
There have been recent instances where individuals over 55 years old received their oath within two months of their AOR, so the process can be quite fast for some.A general question about timelines, since I haven't seen this addressed in the trackers or in comments in the monthly threads: for applicants applying who are over 55 years, and therefore don't need either the language check or the citizenship test, does the processing tend to be quicker? Do those fields in the tracker show 'not applicable' or are just turned to 'completed' when an officer gets to it?
(A family member applying soon)
And yes, I know can come up in interview, this person has graduate degree from a north american university and has worked professionally in English for decades etc, so not an issue. Just wondering about processing aspects and timing. All things being equal of course.
