Contact FRRO. We don't have examples of people applying for OCI after e-visa on this forum. It works with entry visa. As it's for minor FRRO might suggest the way for it.
OCI process

for BLS Mississauga the status will never update for ready for pickup as there is no official pickup facility, but they cannot deny pickup as per Consulate website. So once the OCI is received from India, wait for 2-3 days and send an email to oci.toronto@mea.gov.in, cccanada@blsinternational.net, servicehq.canada@blsinternational.net.
They will surely respond with pickup details. Given very rarely people opt for pickup (because of BLS push), BLS mississauga was practically empty during pickup time window.
Also, you and your wife has to go with receipt of application and ID card (preferably Canadian passport) for all applicants

Hi, has Ottawa center application process time also become faster like the other centers as reported above? Has anyone had a recent application processed at Ottawa and can share the timeline? Our application acknowledgement was June 10th, but it still shows under-process.
~7 weeks from date of acknowledgement. By end of month you should have it.
June 4 Acknowledgement here. 6 weeks done, into the 7th week. "Under process" is the only update.
Not as lucky as Toronto jurisdiction people!

Hello all, i have a situation. I was married in 2006 in India but got divorced in 2010 in Middle East.
I got Canadian PR in 2018 and got Canadian passport in 2023.
Now when i apply for OCI, i have answered that i am divorced. Do i still need to submit my divorce certificate?
My divorce certificate was in Arabic so i got a translated version too. Concerned if this will be any issue in background verification. Any advice would help. Thanks!
