She did biometrics in January 2020 when first TRV applied for. We are relying on IRCC website info awhile back saying that would be accepted for PR application. Something about a temporary Covid measure. I would not be surprised to be told that it must be done again, but they have not asked yet.

She went to Manila with me in March for her medical exam and GCKey says she passed.
Have you ordered GCMS notes?

No, because I am thinking they will take forever to arrive and will reveal little.

I ordered them at time of first TRV denial. They set out not one thing more than the cut and paste boilerplate language of the deny letter. I recognize that the nature of the application is now different, but still would not expect to see much. What can they really say when processing is in mid-stream? Will they say, for example: "This application looks hopeless, but what the heck, we'll play along for awhile, and drag our feet, before issuing the deny." ?

I hear you but still what do you have to loose from ordering that notes aside from $5?

What is the exact announcement then? Apply for spouse TRV and maybe it will be approved just like any other TRV application? What is the point of this announcement?
I agree with you. the Minister said "More than 90 percent Approval rates" Listen keenly My people!

Hello Everyone,

My hubby is in the Gambia, W. Africa, The system says 354 days generally. Where will it say 28 days when I apply later this month as per Frasiers grandiose promises?

Everyone please remember to update the tracker. I want to see the approvals keep rolling in to keep me focused and encouraged. Please feel free to share the ties you showed and any special information that you feel we may benefit from.

I will say a Big prayer for everyone including myself. :)

It depends on your local visa office how much approximately they will process visitors visa. There is drop down menu. Just choose which application then inland or outland then country.

You can choose gckey or portal to apply for trv. They will say there the documents you will need to upload. And then add a letter of invitation.

Can i apply trv even we dont have AOR ?..thank
You certainly can, but from what IRCC says you should wait for AOR to take advantage of the new family reunification measures which may significantly increase your odds of success.

I would say maybe even wait for SA, Biometrics and Medical completed.

I don't believe the system has been updated to show these new spousal trv measures separately, so all you're going to see are the general numbers.

Thanks po advice. But on Mr Fraser announcement he did not say that u need to have AOR , MED OR BIOMETRIC to apply TRV..
He only say "WHO HAVE SUBMITTED"

"Fraser began the announcement by explaining that family members from visa required countries who have submitted family class permanent residency (PR) applications can apply for Temporary Resident Visas (TRV) to join their sponsor in Canada."

I think someone here called IRCC and they said it was needed. It was not explicitly mentioned, but my thinking is, imagine someone submits a super incomplete application just to get easy TRV approval. But maybe it works fine. I'm not sure how exactly they look at it.
