We applied May 30th for TRV and today June 9th eligibility on tracker went from In progress to Completed. BGC still in progress. No visa # or anything. Does anyone know if that's a good sign or if it does not really mean much?

What did you write about ties back home? How long did you ask for?We applied May 30th for TRV and today June 9th eligibility on tracker went from In progress to Completed. BGC still in progress. No visa # or anything. Does anyone know if that's a good sign or if it does not really mean much?

Thank you for adding timelines. I have a very close one - off by half a month. Very interested in your outcome as we'll apply for dependent TRV next week (pa already has a TRV). And basically, I will not include much more than financial support documents and some nominal ties for a plan B (in case PR is refused for some reason). My understanding that you should be ok. By that time they should have a pretty good insight into your PR application, so there should be no problem granting TRV. Provided you have a strong PR case, of course.Asked for 6 Months
Gave nothing for ties back home
PA is unemployed fully supported by Sponsor
PA has long travel history including Japan multi entry visa
I gave letter proving funds from bank account and TFSA
Is this on gckey or portal?I also applied for the TRV. First eligibility changed to Completed a few days ago. Today it suddenly went back to in progress.
Where do you check processing times for this new TRV type?By the way when I applied for trv on May 30th the processing time for Philippines is 28 days. Last week it turned into 31 days. This week it’s 39 days. I guess they are getting a lot of applications. So, I guess that “within 30 days processing” is out of the window now? We will see i’m on my 11th day for now..

When we applied in March 2022, the stated processing time was 34 days. It took 110 days to get our deny.By the way when I applied for trv on May 30th the processing time for Philippines is 28 days. Precisely my point. Yes, it's an indicative that there is more application and general TRVs may suffer. But this is a statistic based timer, it may not take into account the new influx. Just no data yet. For me, it says more some 380 days for TRV... so I'm at the denial stage right now. Or bargaining... I refuse to believe this counter reflects the new TRVhttps://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/check-processing-times.html
I don’t think it’s for “new” trv.
Have you ordered GCMS notes? There should be something this time...When we applied in March 2022, the stated processing time was 34 days. It took 110 days to get our deny.
When we applied in March 2023, we got our deny in a mere 2 days! How's that for quick service? I suppose my wife's name is in their computer and set up on auto-deny, so the result can be almost instantaneous. No one has to look at the application.
Is your wife done with biometrics and medical now? When we applied in March 2022, the stated processing time was 34 days. It took 110 days to get our deny.

She did biometrics in January 2020 when first TRV applied for. We are relying on IRCC website info awhile back saying that would be accepted for PR application. Something about a temporary Covid measure. I would not be surprised to be told that it must be done again, but they have not asked yet.Is your wife done with biometrics and medical now?
