I guess you have to ask your boss to provide a supplementary employment letter to allay all the VO's concerns. Good luck!

Since you are a Jan 2014 applicant as me, I guess CIC restarts to deal with our files. Good luck, Jan guys!



I have two clerks (shipper/receiver) who work under me.all the job duties mentioned in NOC are almost identical what I do every day.but now how I prove it if my employer is not helpful. I am still with the same company.please help if any body can. thanks you.

do you think not sending NOA with the application is the reason for MR delay. I did not send my NOA at the time of application submission because I did not receive it from CRA and later in the AOR email it was mentioned not to send any documents unless requested. now everyone who applied with me received their MR but not me.. so I emailed NOA to cpp ottawa. How long I should wait? is there anything I can do at this time? thanks..

LOL, I ordered GCMS notes on Friday and this is what I got just now:

"Dear Michal Debkowski:

This is to acknowledge receipt of your request submitted pursuant to the Privacy Act, which was received on December 19, 2014, for the following records:

the electronic permanent residence file concerning DEBKOWSKI, Michal

I regret to inform you that we are unable to process your request for the following reason(s):

Requests made under the Privacy Act require that you be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident or an individual presently in Canada. Please provide proof that you are entitled to make a request under the Privacy Act (i.e.: copy of a stamped passport, valid visa, citizenship certificate or corporation registration). You may resubmit your request under the Access to Information (ATI) Act along with a $5application fee through an individual who has the right of access. Your written consent authorizing him/her to receive your personal information is required.

Please note that we will put your request on hold until we receive the requested information from you. If we have not received your reply by January 21, 2015, we will consider the request abandoned and close our file accordingly.

They are asking for prove that you are residing in Canada, email them your any latest bill which has your name and address on it and any canadian photo id i.e driver's licence or work permit copy

Hi I am CECFeb17 and I am on the long list up there. (application filed on Feb 20, 2014, AOR March 13, 2014)

I ordered my GCMS notes on Nov 21, and received the notes this past Monday, Dec 22, at 11:56PM. 4 min before midnight.
Long story short, my eligibility is the main reason for review and the review deadline is March 15, 2015. Huh, really frustrating.

The notes also mention that I didn't submit any T4, NOA, or pay stub, though the employer letter confirmed my work title and salary. (I didn't have T4 or NOA ready as it was early Feb when I was preparing my application, and that was why I decided to send my employer's letter instead.. )

Anyway, T4 and NOA worried me so I called the CIC this morning and asked how I should send the supplementary documents, ie., T4 and NOA 2013, both of which are now ready. The agent: "send them by mail."
I hurried added: "would it be ok that I send these docs without being requested? I am just concerned if my docs would get lost as nobody is expecting them".
The agent: "it is totally up to you whether you send additional docs or not, which are not being requested. You can send them by mail"

Here is my Q for you: Did anyone get confirmation message from CIC when you send anything by email?? Of has anyone sent supplementary by mail (express or regular) and saw the confirmation mentioned on the notes? I am asking this question b/c I saw many posting suggesting email not, mail.. I feel like I am being reduced to such a small person, asking this nitpicky question..
