Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

Today my aunt got a letter from CIC (gave her mailing address as I am out of town) saying that my pictures are incorrect and I need to retake them and come in person to the Toronto Office on October 8th. I am currently out of Canada and obviously I can't get there on October 8th because I will have to first apply for the travel Document (takes around 2-3weeks).

I have the following questions:

1. Is it possible to mail everything even though they asked to come in person?
2. Is it possible to get the appointment changed?
3. Will they give the PR card right away if I go there in person?

Please please please I really need help!!!!

Where r u guys seeing PR Card status? :S...On logging in E-cas I can only see 'Complete' and a final line- "You entered Canada at the Lester B Pearson International Airport, Terminal No. 1 office on XXX and became a Permanent Resident."..so where's this PR Card Processing shown?

And my Canadian mailing address is still not updated, even though I gave it during landing and it's also mentioned in the COPR..do i need to worry?..should I use the Address Notification tool online? Please guide.Thanks.

Landed June 15, still no card. Called CIC and they said there's no information on printing etc (he said there appears to be no reason for delay, maybe just huge backlog, and that "no news is good news", meaning looks like no photo retaking needed or anything like that). Very frustrating...I'm guessing only 2-3 people are in the same boat as me now, as almost everyone who landed in July (!!) have received their cards.

Better call cic to know the status, as ystrdy they told me they hav lost my PR card in the mail and I have to declare it as "never received" thru solemn declaration form. If u r outside canada, u can ask a relative to make conference call and connect u

Thy told me they mailed the card on 18 aug, but nvr received. I landed 16 may and im a single applicant

I also got through today to a call agent - they are requesting new photos. I am a bit confused because in the email I received afterwards fro the agent there is one pdf file stating that I need to have one photo with the date the picture was taken and the photographer info and the other one blank. And there is a second "manual" by clicking on one of the links in the email that states that we need to have both of the 2 photos imprinted with the date the pictures were taken.
Can you guys please help?

Ali Brother, Where do you check for PR Ecas, all mine is showing is completed? landed at airport blabla in the last line? how can I check PR card process?

Well atleast in your case, they said they need a photo to complete the process. In my case, they have no idea what is happening with my PR application.

i think u will get the card upto 4th of oct..so dont worry wait..

@ cupcakes - When did you call CIC? Did they reach back to you with any additional documentation that they need?


@robal - My wife who applied for the PR card with me already got her card 2 weeks back. What is concerning is CIC has no idea as to why this is happening with my application.
