    You should be able to access Ecas upto 6 months after landing..and most importantly Ecas should show "Complete" with the all-important words..."You entered Canada at XXX on YYY and became a Permanent Resident"....And u shud take preferably take a screenshot of this page... Check with different...

    Dear All, Happy to report that I got my PR Card in hand...I landed on 21st Sep at Toronto Airport, Card was printed on 2nd Nov, the Card was received at the CA- Address approx. 6th/ 7th Nov (so approx. 46 days); I got it forwarded to my home country (India) by DHL...Only just received it now...

    1. No. Expedited processing is applicable only for PRC renewals..Current processing times for PRC is 44 days so u have a chance of receiving it before going back, or a friend/relative can receive it and forward it to you... 2. Yups, u can apply through VFS in India and you should get it...

On logging in we can only see a line called 'Complete' and on clicking it, the final line is like this " You entered Canada through XX on XX and became a PR"...Where will the Card...

    You need to get it corrected now...COPR is a very important document, you will need it till the time of Citizenship, all details on it must be 100% correct...and remember the onus is on you to get it corrected... Raise a CSE here->...

    Dhillon, No Transit visa is not based on halt time..The requirement is that you are not having two steps in Europe as in traveling from one Schengen country to another....If it's one stop only, no Transit visa required... You can check the following links->...

    Yes to both....as in u can give friend's address and he can forward you....And yes, US bank statement would be accepted (hope it's a large bank)..just carry a printout of the equivalent CAD conversion rate from the Bank of Canada website on that day to be on the safe side....Good luck!!

    No, 3rd line update means Medicals have been cleared with no issues :)....so expect PPR any day now (can take 30-90 days from 3rd line update apart from some rare cases)..good luck!!
