Again you are avoiding question. My earlier question was not about sponsored parents/grandparents. I am talking specifically parents/grandparents in foreign country. Do they have a right to Canada medical care or not? Yes or No. Explain your either answer why.
So they are not even PR? Then they are foreign citizens who obviously can't get Canada's health care.

So according to you, they don't have unfettered access to Canada medical care because they are not a resident of Canada is one reason. Any other?

So being not a resident of Canada doesn't cover those who are in Canada under supervisa. They are considered to be deemed residents of Canada aftering staying longer than 6 months. They can stay up to 2 years in Canada. Any other reason why they still can't have unfettered access to Canada medical care even while they are in Canada under supervisa?

According to your definition, being a resident is all one need to qualify for free medical access. And yet these parents/grandparents are residents of Canada on supervisa and has no access to free medical care. There got to be another factor. What is it?

Temporary workers have access to free medical care and those on study visa also have access to medical care as well. Temporary workers get it through employment and student gets it through international tuition fees. And yet those residents on supervisa can't get access to it. Why is that? What's the missing factor

Ugh, they don't have Canadian medical care because they are foreign citizens who are irrelevant to Canada. No other reasons needed. What's this got to do with anything??

You seem to avoid the people here on supervisa. You said that residence is all you need to qualify for medical care. So they are deemed resident of Canada. So I want to know why they don't have access to medical care. Care to explain why.

You seem to avoid my direct question at all cost. Why is that?

I am only merely following your logic and connecting the dots that residence is the only qualification for access to medical care.

So about those here on supervisa? They are resident of Canada and yet they don't have access to free medical care. Why is it that they don't have access to medical care if they are resident of Canada according to your residence only qualification. Something is amissed.

Supervisa holders are NOT residents of Canada for tax purposes! It's no wonder they can't get Canada's free health care as they don't pay taxes, even though they stay inside Canada!

This actually helps my argument :p

Ahhhhh. They don't get medical care because they don't pay TAXES. BINGO.

Now that we got that settled. So back to the fairness of parents/grandparents applying for PR through sponsorship. Do you think that it is fair that they get access to free medical care because 1. They were never a resident of Canada before getting PR and 2. They never paid any taxes in Canada to contribute to medical care. YES or NO.

Any Canadian citizen and valid PR should get free health care when they come to Canada. This is the point of Canada's universal health care.

So, to answer your question, YES, since the sponsored parents/grandparents are valid PR's when they enter Canada, of course it's fair for them to get free health care.

So should Canadian abroad when they come back to Canada. LOL

I am not talking about actual PR parents/grandparents. I am talking about the ones about to get PR. Do you think it is fair that they never been a resident of Canada and never paid taxes in Canada about to get PR and get access to free medical care. YES or NO

You cannot make sense this way. The parents/grandparents are either foreign nationals irrelevant to Canada, or PRs after their sponsorship is approved. Before PR they don't get Canada's free health care, after becoming PR they do.

You cannot have both scenarios at the same time!

What's the difference between parents/grandparents that has PR and those who don't. There is absolutely no different between them except one and only one thing. Access to free medical care. So why is "fair" that those that don't have PR don't have access to medical care when those who just got their PR to have access to medical care when they are contributed to Canada exactly the same. Never been a resident and never paid taxes.

What!? So there is no difference between foreign nationals with or without PR???????

OMG then why did we apply for Canadian PR in the first place! This forum shouldn't exit! You are making no sense now :-\

Just admit it that you don't want to see the unfairness of sponsored PR parents/grandparent getting access to free medical care when they have never contributed to Canada tax system or have never been a resident of Canada.

Remember this. The medical care is supported by tax system. Without the tax system, there is no medical care. So according to you, residence is all you need to qualify for medical care. But you know that is not true.

That's as (un)fair as any Canadian or PR getting health care without paying taxes. Fair or unfair, is a matter of opinion. Anyway, we have universal health care in Canada.

Yes it is UNFAIR that we have to pay for medical care for those that never contributed to canada tax system ANYMORE than it is UNFAIR that we pay for medical care for sponsored PR parents/grandparents.

So we are in agreement on that?
