I dont think so if a person is not having travel history then they will reject. I saw a case who got TRV even her spouse was on TRV in Canada (BCPNP) and no assets were there. Rs. 45000 shown in indian bank statement and $ 12000 shown in Canada. She got TRV and now in Canada.

again its a rare case scenario.. as far as i have seen in this forum, strong ties, travel history, insufficient funds, were the main reason for the reject. not necessarily they will reject, but yes chances r high.. since all ur funds and docs were good and enough to approve, this point again plays a matter.. u can very well attempt the third tym with the same things u have showcased already. al the best!

My wife's TRV got rejected recently. Our agent asked us to send an email to visa office with explanation to request them to reconsider the application. We didn't receive any reply back. However, when we ordered CAIPS notes, the email actually showed up in "Notes" section with a comment "Reconsideration Request Received. To IPM For Action".

Does anyone know what "Reconsideration Request Received. To IPM For Action" means?

Thanks

My wife's TRV just got rejected (from Banglore) with the following cited as reasons:
-travel history
-family ties
-purpose of visit
-personal assets and financial status

Does any one know how long it take to get a response for CAIPS request?

Thanks.

i think they have 30 days to process the request. if it will take longer than that then they have to send you a notification about the delay.

Finance: We showed close to $50k in my Canadian account (with an affidavit stating I will support her) along with negligible amount in my wife's Indian account.
Family ties: Canada: myself (spouse) and my parents (my wife's in-laws). India: everyone else (my wife's family and my extended family)

Reading the forum posts, I think that visitor visa for spouses are getting rejected at a higher rate from Jan 2016. What do you folks think?

That my friend could be your problem. You have to show money in your wife's account. As a visitor she should be able to support herself (logically speaking). The money in India also shows strong ties back to home. If there is negligible money in ur wife's account then it shows poor ties to India.

I am Dec 2014 applicant, interview waiver but still keep in cold storage by NDVO.
I applied for visitor visa in Jan2016 at Bangalore but was rejected for no sufficient ties and travel history.
I am again planning to apply for visitor visa with MP support Letter.
This time can I apply at NDVO online or should I apply at Bangalore Office only?
I want to apply at NDVO because my spousal sponsorship application is in final stage in NDVO.
Please suggest.

MP support letter for visitor visa doesn't add any points. i read in this forum only. that letter cannot influence any decision. probably it may add negative points as in recommendation. make ur cover letter stronger. that is the only thing that speaks 4 u.

yes u can apply online or in person. thats ur decision. anything works the same. al the best!

Hello
I want to apply for TRV.
My husband is a Canadian citizen and we have received or SA. I have got AOR1 with the UCI number for my sponsor. Can I put the same UCI number in my visa form for me as well?? I am the applicant. Should I wait for AOR 2 ?? Please do guide

My husband is in Canada since last 4 years, studied and working and is a permanent resident, we got married in Dec '15 and applied for our PR on Jan 4 '16, we have got our sponsor evaluation finished and the file has been sent to New Delhi Office. He has a bought a new house and the house warming was on 28th March, and I applied visitor's visa a couple of weeks back through an immigration lawyer in Canada. I did specify each and everything honestly, including my employment, to which they claim as "misrepresented", I asked in my office and got to know that the calls were made on odd hours and it was attended by a Field Boy and he responded that "I used to work here", both the times the calls were attended by him and my job was verified and confirmed by the same person all when the receptionist wasn't on her desk and that too a field boy(since no one was in teh office at that time). Hence, we have got 30 days time for explanation, trying my best to get each and every document. But, the question is should we withdraw the TRV application giving explanation so that we avoid any harm on PR or are they going to anyway stop me to come to Canada for 5 years and automatically brings my husband out of Canada. ( No couple can live apart for 5 years) Sad

P.S.- I am a resident of New Zealand and a citizen of India and in India from last one year.

Help Please

Hello Komal

Did you receive your AOR 2 when u applied for TRV?? And what letters will I send from your emplacement to convince them that your working there ??

What other ties did you show
You can give all the papers and wait for there decision

As this is what I heard for the first time that they verify everything

I have never heard this before

What all papers did you give of ur employment ??

But do give it a shot
