Hello Mates

Help Required
CEC Application

Wife's PR Applied on Oct 2014 : - My wife is on close work permit and is in Canada for 4 years. She applied for PR in the month of August 2014 and she got the file number on Oct 22nd, 2014 and medicals were submitted in the month of May 2015 and she was waiting for her PR

We got married in September 2015 and her status got changed from single to married in her file and we applied for addition of spouse on Oct 16th Oct 2015 in the same file and waiting for medicals for me ( Husband who is in India ) where we have given the fees of $550 in Oct 2015 only ( 1st Phase fees )

Need to know few things :-

1. When can be medical expected
2. What is the duration they take
3. Applied visitor visa twice and rejected with a foolish reason ( travel history, family ties etc )

Can anyone guide ?

Thanks
Cheers
TD

Hello al

I feel that in 2016 they are just rejecting the TRV ?? Is it so?? Anyone with a positive result ?? And I wanted advise from all. My hauband is a Canadian citizen and he has filed an Outland spousal visa for me in January 2016. I want to apply for my TRV I am a lecturer in a college since 9 months and I am
Getting my salary in the form of cash which is also mentioned in my job letter. I have a good bank balance and good investments in the form of FDs and so on which comes up to 30000$ CAD. But I do not have any assets on my name as I lie with my parents. Can anyone please guide what all should I do to get a TRV ?? I also have a good travel history. I have visited Mauritius Switzerland Bahrain and Australia. Can anyone please guide me as to how should I make my case strong ?? I want to visit only for 2 weeks as we are planning for a trip to Alaska as I also have a US visa. Please someone please guide
Hey there Drkdd,

I think you seem to fill all the requirements for a TRV application. And since you have already filed for your spousal just put together all the proofs and apply for a trv giving them strong reasons. A rejection won't hurt your application. And if anything you can try for TRV again. Thats what I have read on these forums. Good luck!

From which processing VO? If it's processing out of Manila for example, don't waste your time or money, you WILL be rejected.

I'm not sure if this CIC web page has been posted on this thread or not (I didn't look through the whole thread), but if so it's worth repeating:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/temp/visa/dual.asp

I found this enormously helpful.

Essentially, it's perfectly acceptable to come to Canada with two intentions: to arrive as a visitor but also become a permanent resident. CIC clearly outlines the criteria for entry into Canada. As many have pointed out, the most important is that you have to demonstrate that you'll leave Canada when/if your visa status expires. Economic ties are also important.

Most helpful: "Refusals do not stem from having two intents. They stem from having a single bona fide intent (i.e., to become a permanent resident) and misrepresenting the second intent (i.e., to become a temporary resident) in order to achieve the first intent."

Hello eveyone,

I have applied for vistor visa twice.
First in November. It got rejected with the below reasons:
1.Family ties in Canada and in home country.
2.Purpose of visit

Again, I have applied for visitor visa two weeks back. This time I have submitted all the documents
1.My payslips
2.IT returns for the past 2 years
3.Bank statement
4.Appraisal letters
5.CA CE certificates
6.Affidavits from my parents
7.A Self Affidavit
8.My spouse payslips, bank statements, T4 and everything needed.

Even this time my visa got rejected.
The reasons were:
i)Travel History
ii)You have not submitted enough documents to support your/your hosts income and assets
iii) I am not satisfied that you have sufficient funds ---> I have showed about 10,000 dollars fund and my spouse has showed 20,000 dollars.

I am really confused about their way of judging the application :(

I lost all hopes on visitor visa :(
I have sent my PR application in December 26th.
I did not get my sponsorship approval yet.

As my husband is citizen of Canada, he is thinking to move to US on TN visa, till i get my PR. (as both of us lost hope on visitor visa to Canada and we are not able to stay separate).
If he moves to Canada, I can move to US on TN dependent visa.He is also planning to quit job in Canada for my sake, so that we can stay together.
Is this a wise decision? Will this effect on my ongoing PR application?
Please suggest me.
Thanks

Hello

Yes it can affect your PR as your husband has to stay in Canada for this time period. This is according to my knowledge but seniors of the group can throw more light on this. When was your wedding?? And what is a TN visa ?? Do you have a US visa ?

Hi,
Our wedding was in October.
Under TN visa, a Canadian citizen may work in a professional occupation in US. This is valid for 3 years.
No, I don't have US visa. My husband is just planning to move to US, till i get my PR and spouse will be offered a dependent TN visa.
I really don't know whether this is a good idea or not.

Ok. As I told you I feel it's not a good idea that your husband leaves Canada. But still seniors will give you more kbowledge about this. Did you show 10000 CAD in your bank account or did you show investment equivalent to it ?? Don't get disheartened .. Many people have shown even less funds and have got visa

I have showed it as my bank balance. And also I have showed my assets worth 500K CAD.
I am shocked to see that Funds was one of the reason for rejection :(

Oh ok. We're these assets in your name ?? I guess you should wait for your UCI number now and then apply for your TRV

I have a small doubt, if seniors can help me, it will be of a great help.

In the ppr they have left UCI and Application number blank. Do we have to fill it on our own. If so... I have a UCI number (from pr application which is under process) but my daughter doesn't have a UCI. As I am the principal applicant and our daughter is dependent child she didn't receive a UCI

Should i leave blank for UCI in her ppr paper.

Please please advice

Thanks
